After reviewing the drink specials I ordered a brown sugar cinnamon latte. I didn’t really taste any brown sugar cinnamon. I really had a hankering for that flavor. I chose the half classic breakfast which includes one egg, two strips of bacon, hash browns or fruit and toast or pancakes. I’m glad I got the half. I ordered my egg scrambled. The egg had liquid on the plate and seemed undercooked. I asked for crispy bacon and it was cooked perfectly and they tasted great. I chose fresh fruit over hash browns and it consisted of cantaloupe and honeydew. The fruit was juicy but lacking in flavor. The restaurant should think about serving other fruit. I chose pancakes over toast and the pancakes were served hot and are very filling. The restaurant is very homey and what you expect from an established restaurant on The Hill. Dainna was my server and she was great. She treated me like I was family that she liked. They have a parking lot and there’s plenty of street parking around the restaurant.

Local breakfast spot on the South side. Lots of menu options. Family oriented but they still have a full drink menu. They have a parking lot and there is Street parking…so crowded outside that we still had to circle a few times to find parking. It was cool though since we didn’t wait once we walked inside. I wouldn’t drive across town to go here but I’d definitely stop in often if I was closer.

We just happened upon this place looking for a different diner. That was closed! Soon as we walked in the atmosphere was popping with good smells and food conversations! My son claims the best eggs he’s ever had! The pancakes were incredible! The service was wonderful! We’re going to make this a regular thing now! So glad we stopped! 5 Star Service

This place is fantastic! I have been coming there since they use to have a smoking section. I usually always get breakfast, but the lunch food is wonderful. Everyone is awesome. Heck I remembering seeing Chris their all the time helping out and making sure his customer were happy. He was even there after an injury rolling arouns on this two wheel contraption to keep one leg stable. Do yourself a favor and eat here if you never have. Though it is usually packed.

My husband and I stopped here for our last meal in STL and what a treat it was!! I went for the eggs Benedict and was not disappointed. I got the Cali Benedict and it was so flavorful. My husband got the big breakfast and said it was so good. Our food was cooked quickly (and they were busy) amd our server was on top of things. If we were local I would quickly be a regular.

What a meal! Took a little while to come out but it was worth it. Very generous serving of chicken livers. If that’s not your thing, my partner’s Country Benedict was also really good. We’ll be back soon!
