We ordered Jerk Chicken and the aroma was good. The chicken was super delicious. The staff on duty was friendly. The best Caribbean food in DE that I have been to. The location was great and it was easy to find. The restaurant was clean and well organized. Unfortunately they took too long to prepare our order. We ordered five days earlier and they gave us 3pm pick time but they failed to honor the pick up time. We ended up waiting almost two extra hours.

Food is delicious! Everything was flavorful and season. Really loved the rice and peas best I ever had. For the price you gets your money worth most definitely. Definitely will be returning.

I think the owner seriously needs to take back control of this establishment or consider closing up shop. The employees have become arrogant and disrespectful, and half of them don’t even look old enough to be working there.
When you order food, it’s never ready at the time they give you. You show up and still end up waiting, so what’s the point of calling ahead? The quality of the food has gone down while the prices keep going up.
And let’s not ignore the unsanitary food handling and the random people constantly walking in and out of the back door.
What’s really going on here???

It was, in a word, okay. This is also review of ordering through GrubHub.
The chicken was a bit dry inside but the jerk sauce was fantastic. The rice was delicious, but as you can see very greasy.
If you order through grubhub, it’s not part of the GrubHub Plus and as such you will be charged so many fees. Our order was basically double in cost by the time tip was added as well. So we will not be ordering through GrubHub again.
Maybe it will be better if we order from the restaurant directly and have different side options. So while this should be two and a half Stars I will give it the full three for now.

Second time in, second time ordering the mac n cheese. That is enough to keep me coming back! It is literally the best Mac n cheese I’ve ever had. Beats every restaurant, home cooked or catered version and that includes my own. I get it with a side of jerk sauce. It damn near knocked me out my socks the first time. Fresh juice is super fresh. I got the pineapple ginger. Ginger is very fresh and prevalent throughout. 1st time visit I also got a beef patty and that wasn’t anything to write home about. Would like to try more in near future. I just stop in for something quick on lunch as of now.

I called yesterday and spoke to a well spoken gentlemen to inform them about our order. I was told to call tomorrow, which I did.
The older women that answered was very very nasty .
I won’t support our own people because of these same reasons.
Mam, learn to respect your customers.
I will be reporting this location
I won’t ever order from them again and I’ll advise everyone to stay away.
Food is hit or miss and again , learn to speak with the people that keep your establishment open and operating .

I love the food here, but my last couple experiences have been terrible. I either purchase the brown stew snapper, that went from $14-$17 and now $20 or the Oxtail which is also a pricey option. I understand the prices go up but last time I paid $20 for what looked like a baby fish. You got to be serious! I go in today to buy a large oxtail which is also an expensive plate, at $18.75. I get back to work to eat and open my box to realize the tiny pieces of oxtail. I call and am told a LG oxtail only gets 5 pieces, I’ve bought different sizes in the past and received much bigger pieces then what they are claiming is a large. It’s hard to keep supporting, when I feel like they are taking advantage of me and over charging like I haven’t ate there before. On top of that, I didn’t even get my plantain. I don’t have a problem spending $20 if it’s worth it, I spend a lot, every time im there and it seems like the prices go up and portions get smaller!

The food was delicious. As soon as I walked in that smell told me that food was going to be good. I’ll be back Saturday for the Ackee.

I ordered the takeout chicken entree with rice and beans. It was delicious. The sauce included was wonderful. This will be one of my frequented restaurants this summer. I can’t wait to try more.

I purchased just oxtails as I have in the past. When I got them home they were spicy. Like extra spicy. I called and complained…the person on the phone blamed my tasted buds. I didn’t appreciate that at all. I dont like spicy meats, especially oxtails tails. What a waste of money. I wasnt gonna post but he blame my taste buds and didn’t offer any money back or new oxtails.
With the culture at hand I should have known I wouldnt get anything satisfactory.
Never get my money again. Wasted food and money.
Yuck
