If you’re looking for an epic place to host an event I highly recommend LeftHand RiNo- they are kind, warm, accommodating and just all-around beatiful humans!

I have been to LeftHand for SO MANY REASONS and everytime the staff and managers go above and beyond to create magic.

This weekend an organization I consult with, Ardent Grove Foundation, hosted a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Class at LeftHand RiNo’s back room with The Group Chat Denver.

The GM, Kavan Speck, showed up an hour before the restaurant even opened to accomodate us to set up their back room space for the class.

He had already moved all of the tables/chairs and prepped the space to be ready for us to load in and get started. Everything was SO easy.

Leading up to the class their Events Manager, Hayley Lutz, worked with us to sort out all of the details in advance. She’s wonderful and such a “get it done” woman who was beyond supportive in making this event happen – from ideating to planning logistics she was a dream.

As a small non-profit it’s often cost-prohibitive (event space rental fees, food and beverage minimums…etc.) to bring these types of events to community and we so appreciate LeftHand’s values-driven approach to community care and connection.

We couldn’t have asked for a better partner to help us bring healing to community and creating such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere to launch Trauma Sensitive Yoga! (and I ordered a Stage Dive Pizza to go afterward and it was so DELICIOUS!)

Pizza was delicious. Perfect size for the 2x of us. Dog friendly patio where the music isn’t too loud. Good beer+ selection, Wit and Shandy were just what we were looking for on the last warm day of the summer.

Sam was wonderful! Service was great and the food also. Whoever decided to put it straight across from a concert venue was a genius. We could see the line and didn’t have to stand out in the cold and freeze so when the line with down we could just walk across and go into our concert with no problems. The food was great. Came out very quick. Everything was warm. Our appetizer was great. Parking is wonderful. I will definitely be going back. My old fashion was done perfect. It’s not get much better than this.

Have been a few times. It gets a bit jammed up on concert nights but they do move you along pretty quick. They have a number of brews on tap and the menu is decent bar food. I had the margharita pizza this last time and it was really good. probably big enough for 2 but I ate the whole thing. Seating is inside and out during warm months and it probably seats a little over 100 comfortably. I like this location and will be back.

Was in the area so went here with friends. The biggest problem right way is the parking situation. Pricey with no free times. So have to pay or find parking someplace else. I took a risk since it was Sunday morning and nothing else around or even other cars but this is at your own risk. On the other side of the building is Left Hand. They have patio seating in front across from Mission Ballroom’s front doors. There is also patio seating on the side between the building and the fence next to train/light rail tracks. The inside is nice and open. Large bar with seating as well as tables. He food is quite good and the beer selection was pretty decent. Hopefully they will rotate the taps and get some special tap only stuff from the main brewery in Longmont.

3.5 if that were an option. Came in on a Friday afternoon around 1:00. Overall it was just fine, the beer was the highlight and the food was the lowlight.

Pros:
– clean, spacious, big bar area, and the bartender (only person for service at the time) was friendly enough.
– the beer! It’s delicious of course.

Cons:
-The food we got: the queso was ballpark style (nacho cheesey) which was tasty just a bit unexpected. The chips were out of the bag thick and cold and I’m a warm chip kind of person. Maybe just not my style. Pickle chips were way over breaded which sucked all the juice out. No crunch. For the small amount, not worth $9 in my opinion.
– the vibe was pretty dead, maybe it’s dependent on the music venue next door for big crowds. At this time on Friday it wasn’t what we were looking for.

Older brunette bartender wearing a “Be A Good Person” shirt was super rude! Never in my 10 years in the service industry have I ever talked to someone the way she talked to me. Will definitely not be back!!! And will be removing the Left Hand beers I stock at my bar. Super disappointing! Location is cool for the fact it’s next to Mission Ballroom but that’s about it.

Left Hand RiNo is a whole vibe and is right next to Mission Ballroom too for all you concert goers. They got the beers we all know and love from Left Hand, plus a full bar and is spacious both inside and out. I’m only giving it 4 stars because I’ve tried some of the food and wasn’t impressed (didn’t even grab photos). Oh well I’m there for the beer and if I can pop in before a show for a couple then I’m all about it.

This place is amazing!. The staff were super friendly. The food was fantastic. The beer was very good. I tried the chicken bacon panini and was very happy. I also tried their imperial peanut butter nitro stout and their belgin tripel beer, both Amazing as well. The selection was very good. Totally recommend stopping in.

First, the positive.

The beer was great and the location trendy and bright. It is walking distance away from The Mission Ballroom. The patio is large, well lit and inviting.

the negative:

After nearly an hour wait, my friend and I had our burgers and fries delivered. Our order somehow got lost and had to be recooked, but at least the food was hot and the fries decent.

Both burgers deserved a funeral service as they were well on their way to being cremated. Overcooked, chewy, dry, and without even a hint of salt, pepper, or any other seasoning. On top of the burger was the vestiges of what one can only assume was once a tomato. The slice of tomato on my friend’s burger was about the size of a quarter. Definitely not what I would expect for a $15 burger!

A McDonald’s burger would have been more appealing than these. These burgers were that bad!!!

Service was awful. No wait staff ever checked in with us. After sitting for a half hour waiting on food, we walked up to the counter to only find out that our order was lost. After nearly an hour, the food(?) finally showed up. No apologies, other than a brief “Here’s your food.” No staff ever checked in to see if all was well or if the food was ok. It was not!!!!!

While walking to the restroom, I noticed the door to the kitchen had been left open (see picture). Food was all over the floor, looking gross and unsanitary.

I’m not sure that I will give Left Hand RiNo another chance. Which is too bad considering it is a very convenient place to eat before an event at the Mission Ballroom.

My advice… Come here for the beer. Eat elsewhere.
