Cozy Thai restaurant off of Lake City Way. The atmosphere was charming and the service was prompt. I had the Pad See Ew and Coconut Prawns and everything was delicious! Level 2 was fairly spicy so be careful but it was oh so good!

I stopped here on a whim, the restaurant was completely empty at 7pm on a Wednesday. I decided to roll the dice and give it a shot anyway. Ordered the Massaman curry, which has always been a favorite (but hard to find done well). I was excited to see they add pineapple to theirs as well. I have to say it was one of the better Massaman curries I’ve had in Seattle. There was real depth to the flavor, it was amazing. However, I was really disappointed by the portion size. I’m not being nitpicky either, it came out in a very small bowl and there was more rice than curry. I’ve never been served a curry dish with so little food before, ever. It was so small I left hungry, and was wondering what container they would use if a customer ordered this as takeout. It certainly wouldn’t have filled up a standard 16 oz takeout container. I’ve never written a review because of this issue, but I felt especially compelled because it wasn’t cheap AND I was the only customer in the restaurant. You’d think they would want to feed the one guy in the house.

We loved the Pak Prikking with fried tofu, the green beans were cooked and seasoned perfectly. It has just the right amount of kick for my taste at level 1. The Pad See Ew with chicken had a better depth of flavor than we’d had at other Thai restaurants. We finished it all with a perfectly portioned and wonderfully sweet black rice pudding. Glad we finally stumbled upon this hidden gem.

I visited this place with my wife, and we were impressed by the pleasant ambiance and excellent service. We started our meal with spicy noodles, Phayathai fried rice, and chicken satay. Every dish was delicious. However, the mango juice we ordered wasn’t to our liking. They also offered us a 5% discount.
Overall, we were very pleased with both the food and the service. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are fond of authentic Thai cuisine.

Which is better, the food or the prices? It’s hard to say since both were excellent. We arrived at 4:15 on a Saturday and had the restaurant to ourselves. Lovely that they have a 50% discount off your second dish (although I had to remind the server to get the bill adjusted) if you come before 5pm. Great dinner (green curry with tofu and pineapple fried rice with no chicken).

The eggplant has liquid in it and spilled all over the bag which was on my lap the entire way home…everything else was packed in plastic containers even the mango sticky rice which couldn’t spill but everything so oily and messy now

Run dont walk to this place! This is one of the best thai food places out here. Not because just their delicious and generous portions of food, but also their kindness and attentiveness
we were 4 adults went with a toddler. After ordering our food (beef krapow, Tomkha Gai, eggplants stir fried, chicken satay) the owner offered us baby congee with chicken and shrimps carefully chopped up and baby loved it! Timkha and Krapow were phenomenons. Just like in Thailand!!
Thank you so much guys!!

Finally found Pokimiao — I’ve been looking forward to it. My wife loved it back when we were in Ohlone and Idaho, and this is the first time we’ve found it since moving to Seattle. The vibe here is nice too. Next time we should try dining in.

We went to phayathai restaurant for lunch. Service was fast. We got food in 15 mins after ordering. We ordered spicy noodles, phayathai fried rice and chicken satay. Noodles and satay were really good . Fried rice could have been better.

I’ve mostly always gotten takeout here, but I’ve been going for the last 8 years and highly recommend. I have friends who request we eat here every-time they come over. Their noodle dishes, apps, curries, all delicious! The spice level can be a little dicey sometimes (I’ve had level 4s that taste like a 2, and 2s that have tasted like 5s), so accept the challenge if you like spice!!
