Roman Village has been family owned and operated since we opened our doors in 1964. We serve old school family recipes prepared and served by a great staff. Traditional, fresh and simple, just like back home. We prepare all soups, sauces, pasta, bread, and dressings in-house with generous portions. All five locations have Pasta Factories in their dining rooms where pasta is made fresh daily. No additives, no preservatives -fresh to order, gluten-free menu available. Firstly, an absolutely stunning restaurant with a quite a nice fine-dining experience. We went in, with no reservation and there was absolutely no wait, we immediately got sat in our booths. The restaurant is clean, the food is high quality and the service was phenomenal. I’ll definitely be returning here. For the appetizer we got Parmesian Brûlée dip, I got a pepperoni calzoni and my friend got … (will update once I inquire with them.) But absolutely everything was killer. I actually specifically picked this place because this was one of the few restaurants in the Detroit area that offer a dine-in experience, and serves calzones and pizzas. And so, I will certainly be back. This is a great place to host a special gathering and get some good eating.

Stopped by for dinner with my girlfriend this past weekend. It was our first time trying the restaurant, and we were so glad that we did. From the second we walked in, we were treated like family, the entire staff was great. Our waiter Emo was incredible and on the ball. We ordered Calamari, Veal Piccata, and Carbonara, and everything was absolutely fantastic, the bread that comes endlessly was also amazing. Make sure you come hungry because the portions are extremely generous. I would definitely recommend giving Roman Village a try if you’re in the area.

My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary last night and decided to check this place out. The other 2 italian restaurants we had in mind were both closed on Mondays. It must have been fate because baaabbyyyy let me tell you. We are definitely going to be back! The food was exceptional, staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. Victor was our waiter and he went above and beyond to make our special night even more special. The portions were huge and the drinks were fantastic. They even gave us a cute cannoli dessert. Such a great time!

We took some employees from out of town for dinner , staff was excellent helpful and always there to assist, Food was great, no complaints Veal parm, chicken Parm, calzones, pizzas, manicotti. Tiramisu and apple cheesecake are awesome as well as the canolli, authentic Italian food can’t go wrong! Thank you Mama!

Great Italian restaurant. Worth the drive. High quality ingredients that they let shine in the recipe without overpowering them. Quaint interior with lots of Italian personality. Amazing complementary house bread. My biggest complaint about Italian restaurants is when the pasta is overcooked, their pasta was perfectly al dente.

Really good food. Will come again and again. We always get extra bread basket. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and the special pizza for me and my wife. Alfredo was cooked to perfection and the pizza was toasted on the bottom. Great service as well.
