On February 10th I was given an awful portion amount of cod fish. I reached out to DoorDash to no avail they denied a refund, I contacted the restaurant because this specific one on 7mile has always had amazing quality in my opinion! The guy proceeded to look at what I sent him and pretend like nothing was wrong with the portion. I’ll admit when they called back. I cussed out this gentleman and the owner or what appears to be former owner that operates the 13 mile location, insulting their religion and their ethnicity despite that I was offered a $500 credit I’m leaving this review as documentation yes, I was wrong to have insulted them however, if she promised someone a credit you should obliged them I’ll update this when I receive an update from Mohammed of the 13 mile location. I’ve also left a review there detailing the relevant events.

Wow….. I kept reading about all of the hype, and I had to finally try this place.
It did not disappoint….. The broasted chicken may be the best I’ve ever had!!!
I thought Mr. Chicken had the best broasted chicken, but I give the #1 spot to these guys.
The non-spicy chicken was juicy and flavorful, and was just simply so good!!!
The spicy chicken was good and had some heat to on a few pieces…. Same juiciness and flavor.
The broasted potatoes were similar to chicken shack, but just weren’t as crispy…..But we’re good, just not as good as chicken shack, but they were still very good.
The only thing was just average was the okra.
Can’t wait to try the fish on my next visit.

The ambiance is unmatched. You walk in and are instantly wrapped in the comforting glow of bulletproof glass, strategically placed security cameras, and a temperature that says, “Why would you need heat when survival builds character?” It’s less “restaurant” and more “secure transaction zone,” which really heightens the flavor profile.
Behind the glass stands an Indian guy who appears to be running a side quest in customer service. He speaks with such speed, volume, and accent that you don’t so much order food as you agree to something and hope chicken comes out. It’s a thrilling linguistic adventure—pointing, nodding, and blind faith are key parts of the experience.
Somehow, despite the arctic conditions, fortified barriers, and the verbal mystery happening at the counter, the chicken emerges flawless. Juicy. Perfectly seasoned. Life-affirming. It makes you forget that you’re one misunderstanding away from ordering six extra sides and a soda you didn’t want.
Five stars for ambiance alone. Come for the chicken, stay because you’re not entirely sure how to end the conversation behind the glass.

This was the first time I have visited this restaurant based off reviews, so I ordered over the phone a family meal , once I arrived at the restaurant the place was a small place which not many people could stand in there at once no more than 5, my food was hot and my order was correct I only had to walk back in to grab my corn which the male person taken orders had no problem giving me because he noticed after I walked out he forgot. But the catfish was seasoned well and was real catfish not swai , the chicken was okay not to seasoned but was fresh, the fried okra was delicious and the Basha potatoes gave Chicken Shack flavor which was good and a large feeds about 5 people, I did not even need the other order, the fried corn was 5/10 regular corn may have been better. Overall would we visit again maybe not Chicken Shack is close by in this place reminds me of Chicken Shack.

This was my first time trying Basha ‘s and I must say I was very impressed! The Catfish lunch special was . They actually give you a whole piece of fish, not like the others who cut them in half. The seasoning was spot on and The Basha Potatoes just melt in your mouth.

I’ve ordered from here 3 times. Food has always been fresh and hot, really good, no dried out chicken. Fried shrimp is excellent. Much better than chicken shack.
