This place is a gem. The food was super fresh and flavorful. The meat was juicy and the aroma of the grill delicious. Turkish Tea and Coffee were on point and the baklava was super juicy and fresh. Service did not disappoint. They were very friendly and kind to my entire family. We were running late to a show and needed them to prepare the food prior to us arriving and they were super understanding and helped us out! We will definitely be back when going back to the area. Convenient and close to a few major chicago theaters.

This was my first time at a Turkish restaurant and it was beyond my expectations. Everything is so unique and flavorful, right from the breadsticks to desert. Adana Kebab and Kazan Dibi Custard are a must try, and you’ll end up savoring every bite upto the last. Even their Famous Turkish Lahmacun is very flavorful and unique in texture and mouth feel. The Turkish tea and Kazan Dibi Custard are the perfect combo you didn’t know you needed. This place is worth revisiting also.

Delectable Turkish Cuisine in the heart of the city. Both our lunch and the staff were exceptional. Food was freshly prepared by the chef and was infused with flavor. The meats were juicy and tender…. grilled to perfection! The Muntti was the best I have ever had! Will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu.

No one greeted us or helped find a place to sit. Then, once in the middle of the room, a waitress simply pointed in a direction of several tables. Very odd.

Food was excellent. Second waitress was great and attentive. Good amount of meat. Chicken and beef kabobs were very juicy and flavorful.

I recently dined at Bereket Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience! I ordered the mountain trout, and it was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection, the fish was flaky and flavorful, truly showcasing the chef’s skills.

The presentation of the food was equally impressive, with vibrant colors and artistic plating that made each dish a feast for the eyes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, adding to the overall dining experience.

As a bonus, it’s Halal certified, making it a great choice for those seeking halal options. I highly recommend Bereket for anyone looking to enjoy exquisite Mediterranean cuisine in a welcoming setting! ️

Warm place, warm people and hot but delicious food. Everything was so flavourful, even the rice and salads accompanying the meat. And the Turkish tea after the meal was so good on a winter evening.

Worst dining experience I’ve had, especially considering how overpriced everything was. For a party of only 3 people, the restaurant added almost a 20% service charge, despite the menu clearly stating that the service charge applies to groups of more than 5. This was not disclosed before ordering and was only mentioned after the bill arrived, with staff saying they apply it to all tables. This is misleading and not acceptable, and may be illegal under Illinois consumer law.

As for the food—Karsala Pede was extremely disappointing. It was essentially plain cheese bread and looked nothing like the Turkish pide shown in the menu photo. The hummus did not taste fresh, and the falafel was just okay, nothing special. We also ordered Turkish coffee and tea—the coffee was poorly prepared, with coffee powder visibly floating in the cup.

Overall, the food quality, pricing, and lack of transparency with charges made this a very poor experience. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place.
