Chinese fare meets sushi & hibachi in 3 rooms of a renovated railroad car.

Orient Express is a really nice spot with a unique and charming vibe. Part of the restaurant is built from an old train cart, which makes the experience feel fun and different right away.
I ordered the sushi, which tasted very fresh and was reasonably priced — definitely worth it. I also tried the dumplings; they were okay, but huge — surprisingly big portions. The salt and pepper calamari was really good and cooked well, though I would’ve loved to see it served with a dipping sauce, maybe a sweet chili sauce to take it to the next level.
What really stood out was the service. Andy, our server, was great — very attentive, friendly, and in a positive mood the entire time, which always makes a difference.
Overall, it’s a solid place with good food, great service, and a cool atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu! DONT FORGET TO TIP ❤️

I’ve been a loyal customer of Orient Express for a couple of years now, and I can confidently say that I’ve never had a bad experience with them. My go-to dish is the pepper steak with steamed rice. It’s always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. This combination is unbeatable, and I highly recommend adding some spring rolls to your meal. Just remember to check for the utensils when you pick up the bag, lol. That’s pretty much all you need to know.
I highly recommend Orient Express to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal.

I went for lunch. It was decent. I liked the railcar idea which was truly unique. I need to go eat on the other side though as the side i dined on was generic. I used to come here for lunch when I worked up the street at The Home Depot and always remembered it mainly due to the dining train/rail car. So I dipped in here again and tried it out for lunch and it was still very good.

When I arrived, I thought the ambiance would be a little better. The server greeted me gave me 2 menus. 2 menus that were dirty and old and nasty. (Pages taped up) So I asked for another menu. But once the menu was dropped off my server disappeared. Well not fully. She had other guests that she was tending to so I wasn’t acknowledged until 20mins after sitting. When she finally comes over I ordered a Hot n Sour Soup, Spring Rolls, and General Shrimp. The food was excellent but the service and ambiance isn’t up to par. Now I like the view of where I was sitting because I could see the people walking their dogs and cars passing by.

Would like to let folks know that there was a baby ROACH in my Mongolian beef to go order. Before going here, and this used to be my regular Japanese/Chinese food spot, I checked their health food score as I always do and they had a 96, which made me feel comfortable as usual. I called the health department after finding the roach and reported them. I called back a week later because their score was still 96 and was told that the inspector did a follow up and found that Orkin had been going out repeatedly and that the restaurant was leaving the back door open. When I asked why their health score wasn’t updated, I was told it was an internal report (you can call the health department yourself and ask), and no word on when their score will be updated again. Be careful because I definitely threw up after finding this and it’s so small that it could’ve been mistaken for a seasoning if you’re not looking at your food, but it definitely was a roach.

All Aboard the Flavor Train! Whenever we’re craving hibachi that hits all the right notes, we hop aboard the Orient Express. A train-themed restaurant that never derails on flavor, service, or quality.
We brought the kids here to celebrate the start of the new school year and it was a hit! Salmon, steak, shrimp—oh my! The miso soup was rich and comforting, the ginger salad crisp and tangy, and our chef? A true showman. If you’ve done hibachi before, you know a chef with personality can turn dinner into a full-blown performance.
There has been a recent change. A $4 upcharge per meal to include fried rice, which felt like a bit of a money grab; especially since it’s typically standard at other hibachi spots. Still, the food was delicious and bountiful (we each left with a to go box), the atmosphere fun and the service on point.
Would I recommend? Absolutely. Come hungry, bring friends or family and let the Orient Express take you on a tasty ride.

Absolutely delicious, chef did the whole experience. The koi fish outside are a nice touch and the entire atmosphere is nice. Must try.

I am the person to leave generous tips if the service provided was for it, not in this occasion the server we had didn’t understood what we were trying to ask her not only that was super rude attitude towards me and my husband, didn’t even provide refill for our drinks didn’t ask the basic service questions NOTHING, once we finished our dinner all she came with was the check and demanding for a tip. It is not the first time it has happened but I had let it go before but this time was just unacceptable the way this lady treated us. Tips are based on service it’s not a requirement for a party of 2, provide good service and customer will leave tips. Shame on the that lady and other waitresses from that location

Overall food was ok, second time coming to this place, same perception. The service takes a long time until the person comes to your table, you have to look around trying to find someone, the spicy tuna in the sushi was too spicy ️ and I like spicy.
