Dinner at Au Pied de Cochon was an absolute delight. The food is truly delicious, and the standout dishes for us were the beef tartare and the French onion soup both prepared perfectly and full of rich, authentic flavor. If you visit, definitely try the beef tartare!
We were seated outside, which was lovely, but on a cooler night it would be more comfortable to sit inside. The restaurant itself feels magical with its classic Parisian charm, and the service is completely on point, attentive, friendly, and professional.
We arrived without a reservation and waited around 15–20 minutes to be seated, which wasn’t bad at all. Still, it’s good to know that you can easily make a reservation online if you prefer not to wait.

Au Pied de Cochon is a classic French brasserie. Their cuisine is superb, and you have to try the onion soup or fresh oysters. The atmosphere is lively and elegant, and the service is always attentive. Best of all, it’s open 24/7, making it perfect for a late-night meal.

This restaurant is inside the renown Presidente InterContinental Hotel in Mexico City. The place, the atmosphere and the vibe are all great. So is the excellent service. The staff was attentive, caring and courteous when we were there. But the food was not up to our expectation. It was good but not great. While the onion soup was tasteful, the escargots for example lack the right flavor for our taste, they were just flat. Their Vol Au Vent was excellent but the lamp dish was just okay. Are we going to come back? Maybe, maybe not. We are going to try another popular French restaurant food tonight, at Les Moustaches, to compare.

Not a good experience today. Croque Madame was made with chopped and formed ham (see photo), no mustard etc etc. Meh at best. . Egg white omelette was cold. Service was not attentive as would be expected here. Have had several meals here previously. This one was a disappointment. I hope they can do better next time.

As my Parisian friends say “oh la la”. Everything you can expect from Au Pied de Cochon you’ll receive it in the cdmx branch.
Walking into the restaurant the ambience transports you to another region. The mix in; design, music, smells and great hospitality.
Remember what you tried in Paris? Order it again here so you can try to spot the differences. A must to get are the escargots.
And is great to know that this place is open 24 hours, whenever you feel like it you’ll find a spot with great atmosphere and food to grab a bite.

Had a very lovely time. The service is exceptional, kind and attentive. The food is good, but not great. However, I will be back to try other items on the menu.

Food was excellent and well executed traditional flavors and dishes, especially the escargot and crème brulé. Great wine and fast kitchen. Service was a bit clumsy with removing places too quickly or not timing drinks well.

We decided to dine here based on the amazing reviews! I ordered a tomato soup and goat cheese salad and my partner ordered a Caesar salad with no croutons. They brought an onion soup for me and brought a salad with croutons for my partner! When we inquired about that, the staff kindly took the salad back to the kitchen only to take out the croutons and bring it back immediately. My partner has a gluten allergy so the salad should have been made fresh but this was not the case. Also to add that the taste to the food was pretty bad! The tomato soup tasted like a canned soup, the Cesar salad was dry and the dressing of the goat cheese salad was really awful! Overall, the most terrible food we had in Mexico City! I will be remembering to avoid places that are open 24hrs!

The food was so good, how ever we made a reservation and asked for a table inside; when we arrive the hostess said no becouse “inside was full”, it was a lie, since we arrive untill we leave it was half empty. I was still eating my main dish and they take my dish away and start to give the dessert menu like they wanted us to leave. I saw it in all the tables, not just us, i understand that is a high demand place, but for 5 people we spent 600 dollars, it is not a cheap place so I was expecting a better treatment.
