Incredible experience tonight for our anniversary dinner. Our waitress Vanessa was fantastic. My only critique would be on the plate size. A 5oz steak on a big plate looks sad. I’d also prefer sides with the steak than sides to share.

If you are looking for amazing food, including the best streaks and steak options in town, go here! The scallops are cooked perfectly and the orange butter sauce compliments the scallops. I’m a sucker for the truffle man n cheese with Nueske bacon- a must try! Then there’s the dessert options! Oh my Lord you must try the carrot cake!!! If you don’t enjoy carrot cake then go for the chocolate cake which is paired perfectly if you enjoy coffee after dinner.

This was a very neat place to get some higher scale food. We ordered Cajun alligator bites, grilled asparagus, french onion soup, chocolate cake drizzled with Carmel and different mocktails. The atmosphere was great and so was the service.

Wissota is a go to date spot, the customer service is top notch. Our server Olivia was personable and made sure we had everything we needed. Our bartender Kayla was fantastic, making drinks that were incredible. The chef (Jon) was spot on with everything we had that night. He came out to speak with us after our meal which made the experience even more personable. Jon is an incredible chef and we had nothing but praise for him. I would recommend anyone to go to Wissota you will not regret.

I was here the week of the US Open. Our server Olivia was amazing!! She was very personable. She gave amazing recommendations for both food and drinks, which I thought was very impressiveu because she told us she hadn’t worked here for long! I did see a manager take her aside. and the atmosphere lost some of its lightheartedness. I don’t if she was reprimanded for joking with us or if it was something else! Other than that it was a great experience.

Food was ok… the sea bass was literally swimming in griddle oil. Now I’vee had sea bass in several nice restaurants and this experience in particular I do not recommend. It ruined the fish and for $40 (no accompaniments). To me for what they charge it should be a white table cloth experience and it just isn’t. Extremely limited menu (I get it hotel) but come on do better. I’ll never go back. The cocktails were made perfectly and were the best part of the experience that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars. For 2 people at $200 it’s a one and done. Included a photo of the fish swimming in grease. And no this wasn’t the “orange glaze” it was cheap oil not even EVOO or real butter.

Although Wissota has been in Stevens Point a few years, we haven’t gone to the restaurant until someone gave us a gift card to it. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of seafood and the other menu choices. The shareables are a good portion for two and worth the value. The soups were excellent and they serve Main Grain Bakery bread as well, which is always a treat! We didn’t try the steaks so can’t comment on them but the seafood gets our vote! We ordered the orange-butter, pan seared scallops. They were amazing. The sesame-crusted ahi tuna was superb as well. Glad we were blessed with the card. We will be back!

We always have a great experience at Wissota in stevens point, the food is put together with great experience & the service is outstanding. We tried Alligator for the first time, delicious! Highly recommend Kayla, she is very educated in food service, takes pride in what she does & made us the best homemade cocktails we’ve ever had!! Thank you Kayla & Wissota!!

Best dining experience in Stevens Point by far!!! Had the Japanese Wagyu and it was the best steak I have ever tasted. It was like butter! Bonnie, our server was top notch and we will be requesting her when we return for another amazing dinner!
