I had a great experience at this Lao restaurant! The food was incredibly flavorful. Everything we ordered came out fresh, hot, and well-seasoned. My favorite was the Crispy Garlic Shrimp. I was still thinking about that dish after we left the place. Lol. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting.

My only wish is that the dining area were a bit. Aside from that, it’s a wonderful spot and I’ll definitely be coming back again

The place is a little small but cozy. We were a party of 5 and we sat comfortably. The customer service was great! Any questions on dishes and flavor profile were answered quickly and efficient. He was very patient with us. The dishes was delicious and they have big portions. I will definitely go back! I highly recommend for you to try it out… you won’t be disappointed.

If you want an authentic pho made with beef broth, this is not the place. The broth before adding hoisin sauce and sriracha sauce, was almost clear. Even after the sauces were mixed in, you can see it’s still pretty clear. And it had celery…..? Why? When I tried just the broth before adding anything else, it tasted like it was made with either fish or chicken base, but not beef. Extremely disappointing. Paying $18 for a bowl of not beef pho broth is a crime in my opinion. The shrimp spring rolls were great but it’s not worth returning if the pho is not made with beef broth. I’ll stick to my regular spot Vietnam Cafe near city market. Its a longer drive but the flavor is unmatched. I always leave wanting more.
Regarding the service, I’m only giving two stars because he filled my water twice. The place was not busy and we had to go up to the counter to place our order. Didn’t even ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. Their other food might be great but this experience left me never wanting to go back. I’m literally so disappointed I’m making this review in my car in the parking lot.

Quite the unassuming place with the absolute best Laos in Vietnamese food I’ve ever had! Family-Owned business using family-based recipes that are just out of this world. The depth of flavor incredible. Everything we had was delicious and hot with spices bring incredibly good as well as freshly made to order!!! I highly recommend trying this place to expand your culinary taste buds!

They had a great variety of food. Hard to find a Thai restaurant in our town that serves Nam Khao. Their service was great, it’s a small family restaurant. She did great to take care of all the customers and getting orders out and cleaning up tables. The other thing we enjoyed was the Beef Lao Larb which also had tripe in it. We would recommend checking them out. There are only a couple of tables there but we were able to get a table without issues.

My friend and I love spicy food, but Lao hot definitely had us struggling. Mimi checked on us, saw we were struggling and brought soup, drinks, and cookies to help with the heat. Definitely recommend this place!

We were passing through on a road trip and chose this place due to the great reviews. First of all the lady working was super welcoming, nice, attentive and accommodating to a request for pan fried dumplings vs deep fried or steamed. Our entrees were exceptional: chicken fried rice- the texture of the rice was spot on, using day old rice so that it is not too moist and fluffy, the cook knows what they are doing!! My noodle dish was very good with perfect amount of spice level (medium). I have had better crab Rangoon though, these weren’t very warm and the sauce is a bit different. Good can’t out quick and the portions were large. All in all a solid 8/10!!!

Excellent service, they let me try Lao spicy on the side of my entree. The fried tofu appetizer was excellent great texture in the middle

This place is phenomenal. It’s one of my favorite spots in Overland Park. The food is tasty and the staff are sweet. For those who like spicy food, this is the place to be. Just know spicy actually means spicy here.

First time coming here, I’m Laotian. I was missing home cooked larb! Absolutely nailed it!!! I am literally melting in my food!!! It’s so so good. They have my heart! Literally. I got the raw version, that’s my personal taste. I’ve grew up eating this way. I’m so glad they could accommodate to this!!!
