So after several times of being here and having our steak way over cooked we tried again this evening. We ordered the 20 OZ Porter House T-Bone and it was well done or beyond after ordering it medium. We sent it back and told our server we understood servers don’t cook the food it’s not their fault.
The 2nd steak was sent out and it was just as bad. The server even acknowledged it was so over cooked it appeared white. The server explained there was a new cook running both lines this evening and we said that’s fine let’s give it another try. The manager approached us and at first said “she would cook it her self” before saying the kitchen manager would cook it…. Okay… it came out the 3rd time a deep dark red almost mooing at us. We asked her to just take it off the bill.
The manager was extremely disrespectful and at that point me and my wife told her that her attitude was unacceptable. You’re mad at the customers because your cooks don’t know how to cook. She informed us she wanted us to leave and insisted she cash us out. I declined and told her I would not let her cash us out.
I told her to get our server as he was extremely nice and understood the situation.. she finally agreed and our server delivered our bill. Even though me and my wife don’t eat. My son only ate half of his meal because he was waiting on mommy and daddy to eat we still tipped our waiter 24$ because the faults were not because of him.
The fact that a manager of this establishment gets mad at customers because our food isn’t right absolutely blows my mind. This is the last time we will come here. It’s such a shame. Then the steaks are cooked right the flavor is unmatched and hands down my favorite, but unfortunately of our last 6 visits I’ve left 4 times without eating due to them not being able to cook a medium steak.
We will be calling corporate tomorrow to file a formal complaint on the manager this evening. Date 3/5/26

Of all my adult life I have never had as bad of an experience at any restaurant anywhere as I had with my family this afternoon at Texas Roadhouse of Somerset. It started out easy enough, staff was prompt and we were seated in speedy fashion, took our drink orders. Drinks came back tasting like they had been mixed up with diet. Not a huge deal but was told “ oh it’s coke but I’ll get you another one” Strike 1. We wait another hour and then are told that our order for some reason did not get entered, but…… that management is prioritizing ours now and it’ll be out pronto. Another 35 -40 minutes pass then are told that somehow the same thing happened but not to worry, it would be out soon. I just said basically no thanks I’ve already wasted an entire afternoon here and our whole family left. This all took place starting at 1:20 and we left at approximately 3:00. Not only did we leave hungry but the whole thing just caused my entire family to get into a big squabble and quite honestly absolutely ruined our entire day. No meaningful apologies were given, I didn’t ask to see a manager but one would assume that a good manager would have stepped in before a family just walked out after making an order. I can’t stress this enough, I am never the guy that gripes about bad service, I know it gets busy and things happen but I’ve eaten in truck stops and at concession stands that offered better service. Lesson learned, Texas Roadhouse is great but avoid this one unless you have the whole day to sit around then leave hungry.

Me & my boyfriend chose to have dinner here tonight and it’s was hands down the worst experience we’ve ever had. Any other time was amazing. We were sat with a server named Icidra. She had two other tables in her section that were I’m assuming her friends/ off the clock coworkers. She was more involved with them and chatting it up as she mentioned she was getting off soon multiple times. After our first basket of rolls she asked us if we’d like more. We said yes and never got them. Then 30 minutes later we got our food cold and after we ate my boyfriend finally got his fries. She wasn’t very kind through the whole time and like I said before, too involved with her friends. I hate to leave a bad review but that behavior isn’t acceptable for a place people rant and rave about. The only people who were kind to us was a server named Selena and a busser named Dakota.

I ordered online from their user friendly mobile web page and picked up my food curbside. My order was ready and brought to my car practically the moment I had fully parked in the designated vst@was exactly how I had ordered it with the substitutions and changes I’d requested perfectly adhered to my food was hot. The portions were adequately equal to the servings I would have received had I been inside the restaurant and it brought to my table. And there was plenty of cutlery and napkins along with fresh baked Roadhouse dinner rolls. All in all this was a very nice experience that was very much up to par and met my expectations. I highly recommend Texas Roadhouse and their curbside pickup. This was a solid 10 out of 10 y’all.

Great prime rib, all meats are as good as they look on display and don’t forget to try the fish. The service is attentive and reasonable for a very busy restaurant. You’ll find your meal is relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Went to visit family in Kentucky. Took father in law out for his birthday on a sat afternoon. There was 6 of us. Was around 12:30. Was busy, but nothing overwhelming crowd wise and no wait. Ordered drinks, 15 minutes later. 2 sodas came for the kids but rest of adult drinks did not. Waitress was not friendly off the get go, we asked about our drinks and regular butter for the rolls. She proceeded to give a dirty look with answers she got other tables to deal with it then go back to the bar. Long story short, both steaks were severely overcooked ( not the waitress fault). Was not our Waitress who dropped the food off, a side was missing off an order. Nobody to tell because the other person dropped the food and left. Nobody came back EVER. We had to flag a different waiter down. The ” manger ” comes by and literally in 1 swoop without stopping half ass asked how everything was. Waitress only came back to try and give us our bill until I asked her for a couple more drinks. This was a joke. Over $200 before tip and the food wasn’t worth it . Worst was the service. I’m 4 hours away and im glad I don’t live anywhere near here. I would never come back. What a shame.

I waited for my curbside order for 20 minutes longer than it was supposed to take. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location (or any location) but today I unfortunately did. I wish I would have looked at my food before I drove home or I would have sent it back. I was so bummed out to see my steak kabab burnt to an absolute crisp like jerky when I asked for medium well. The portion was also much smaller than usual. The rolls and rice were good at least. I don’t mind waiting for my food, but if I have to wait 20 extra minutes it better taste good.
