Excellent American style Chinese restaurant. The lunch specials were really good, and the food was delicious. Sit down Chinese restaurants outside of Chinatown are becoming increasingly rare. Will return.

I ordered one of the lunch special shredded beef Szechuan style over rice, the egg drop soup came with it. I spent $20 including tips. Food was okay for the price, beef was very different and gluey, very high sodium. Soup was too thick. Rice was the best part I think. 3 stars for the rice and price.

The food is always excellent. I try to be in the area. Unfortunately , today I had a take out order of twice cooked pork. When I got home, it was not twice cooked pork. It was few, little pieces of pork with a lot of mushrooms and tofu. Totally unsatisfying. It is usually so good.

Fried rice tasted kinda like…bbq or burnt or Smokey? The scallion pancakes were the best. Everything else just ok

Food very tasty, not over cooked and they fill the to go box to the Max, my dishes they put lots of very fresh and large cashew nut , chicken is tender. I also asked for a tradition real Chinese dish Shrimp with Scribble egg with spring onion which is NOT on the menu! But they cooked for us and didn’t spare on the egg nor Shrimp , large quantity of food and charged $16.75 which the same dish I ordered from A Chinese restaurant Red Peony at 56 street that charged me $30 with half the portion and barely has any Shrimp in the uptown restaurant. Chicken with Cashew nut with a box of rice is $14.75 and Spinach with sauté in garlic is $12.45. All worth the price since portion are huge and fresh.
Plus New Moon gave us 3 huge box of very soft and good rices not the cheap dry hard rice.
Will definitely order again. Amazing !

Food wasn’t fresh at all. I ordered it around 4:30, it said 20-30 minutes delivery and came exactly at 4:40 pm today Saturday August 4. I’m highly disappointed, I specifically asked for fresh shrimp and broccoli for my order. The shrimp aren’t fresh at all and the broccoli is way too hard. I will NOT be ordering from
Here again. The first time I ordered everything was fresh and now today it’s absolutely repulsive the type of service I received.

I used to order from this place frequently, I thought the food was good. Today on my order several of the plates we received had multiple hairs. Clearly they have dropped all hygene standards here. Be careful

Okay this place is so underrated and so GOOD. The lo mein is some of the best I’ve had, the broccoli in garlic sauce is delectable and I have high standards. Not to mention the people who work there couldn’t have been nicer. It was raining outside and one of the waiters offered us his umbrella you don’t hear about that sort of kindness in New York anymore. Will be back, highly recommend. Also the tap water was mad tasty
