I was a little worried by the opening weekend reviews but am so glad I came! This isn’t Black hog or some barbecue mecca but is definitely great tasting large portions at an affordable price. I was very satisfied on both my visits. The staff were kind and offered samples of meat that I asked about. The daily specials are fantastic, 8 dollars for barbecue, 2 sides (all of which have been fantastic and generous portions) and a large drink. I have yet to eat here and not walk away with leftovers. A great value and a good addition to the food selection around Frederick. The barbecue sauce is also fantastic, just the right amount of spice!
EDIT: A few more visits… resulted in some room temperature meet and a surly lady that looked like she didn’t really want to be working there:( I guess it’s a mixed bag, still worth trying for the price.

We had a take out today. For 12 dollars I ordered the 2 meet dinner. I must say the flavor was lacking in both meat items. Dry and small portions. The coslow was the only thing with a little flavor. Potato salad was bad. Will not go back.
