Excellent chicken fries and a very budget-friendly restaurant. I started coming here more often after my first visit with friends. The spicy chicken fries are delicious, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The combo french fries are great too. The prices are a really good deal for the amount of food you get.

Everything is served hot in paper containers, and they call your number when your order is ready. There’s also plenty of seating inside the restaurant.

If I have to travel 5 hours to Pittsburgh from Toronto Canada for these sandwiches I happily would do it!!
Omg what heavenly delight! I have not eaten such perfect sandwiches and fried chicken in North America ! Absolutely delicious. The seasoning was perfect. The crunch was to die for. And ALL. HALAL. What more do you need?
We ordered their burger and fried chicken bucket. All made fresh you could taste how the chicken was not those frozen kind.
I wish I had brought some home with me because I keep on dreaming about it.
If you’re in the area please do not miss out on this gem. It’s too good
They have a huge menu but just stick to basic: their special fried chicken and burger.
Amazing.
Great portions too.

I have to say this is hands down one of the best halal spots for chicken sandwiches and fried chicken. Everything is always fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. My husband and I find ourselves coming back almost every two to three weeks because it just hits the spot every time. If you’re craving something comforting and halal, 98K won’t disappoint!

This may be one of my new go-to places in the city for fried chicken. They’re pretty transparent about the longer wait times for some items, but oh man, it was worth it. Gorgeous, huge pieces of fried chicken, served hot and juicy with a satisfying crunch. We ended up taking a bunch home because the portions were larger than anticipated, which is my favorite problem.

We’ll have to get something saucy next time to see if that’s the extra kick we’re craving.

Excellent crispy spicy fried chicken with a very generous serving of fries. The fried chicken burger was ok, but the fried chicken was just perfect.

Been going here off and on for about a year and I really enjoy the food! I haven’t explored every item, but the chicken thigh burgers (not spicy and spicy) are extremely good. The cod sandwich is also very nice! The fries are great. Other fried sides have hit the spot and were quite nice. The rice bowls are a very filling and nice fast good for those that prefer rice to bread.

Many more items to try!

Tried this place for the first time tonight. It’s a burger and chicken sandwich place with some Asian influence that sort of lives between fast food and fast casual. The spicy fried chicken sandwich was tasty, I loved the crispy and light batter. The fries were also good, they were slightly crispy. I definitely recommend the Szechuan chicken fillet and the wings were also pretty good, especially the fried ones. I’m sure I’ll find myself visiting here again some time.

Genuinely the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! My partner and I both ordered super spicy chicken burgers with no cheese. The chicken thigh was tender and juicy. The breading and sauce were well-spiced and had hints of what I think was either allspice or cinnamon. Love that they give you the option to replace the fries in the combo with chicken wings! Service was also great! When I came to pick up our order, the cashier mentioned they had forgotten to make it without cheese. He apologized and got my partner and I two new sandwiches in less than two minutes. I normally don’t do reviews, but I feel this place deserves the 5 stars. It’s a shame I don’t live in Pittsburgh, because I would come here more often if I could.

Ok let’s touch on the few positives.

1.) Large seating area
2.) A public bathroom.
3.) Fairly cheap for the area.

Ok let’s talk about the food, it’s trash and a terrible value for what your paying.

The budget patty meat was so loaded with filler and had a weird texture. If you have ever had those Walmart burgers you get frozen that have been premade and come in boxes of 20 these are the same as those aka garbage.

Cheesey fries, the served the cheese cold not sure if that is how they always do it but congealed cheese from the can is nasty.

The chicken thigh sandwich had a very weird texture and was rather unpleasant overall, it was rubbery like calamari and looked like it might not have been cooked for very long.

Whole fried chicken, this was average on par with KFC but nothing special but it was presented well.

Leaving disappointed and my stomach is a bit upset.
