We are in our fifties and stopped here while on vacation out of convenience for a quick meal on a Monday evening around 7:30. We placed a mobile order on the way there and ate inside. The food was actually excellent for McDonalds, but the building and staff were pretty awful. We were the only customers inside and the place was a mess, trash on the floors and tables, trash on the floor of the men’s room…but the most frustrating part was when my wife tried to inquire at the counter for a cup for water and waited over 5 minutes with no help. And the staff in the kitchen saw her waiting and just returned to their conversation. She finally just walked back to our table. Not McDonald’s best for sure.

Well, I was gonna leave a wonderful review but today the follow up experience to our Christmas eve day experience didn’t pan out as promised.
On Christmas Eve day I drove through the McDonald’s and I ordered in drive-through two sausage egg McMuffin meals with two small black coffees – when home to playe, and the breakfast the sausage egg McMuffin sandwiches had folded liquid egg on them.
We don’t eat liquid egg. There’s an ingredient in there that we’re allergic to so we can’t – nonfat milk. I was hungry enough that I wanted to, but we can’t. I believe it was the store’s responsibility to tell us before we drove away and by the way, you don’t have a round egg on there that’s been cracked. You have a folded egg, but since they didn’t do that, we called the store..
We talked to a manager, who was very nice. Her name was Desiree. She said they ran out of round eggs and use folded eggs. I said you should let people know that before they order or when they’re pulling up to get their food, it should be said to the customers because we pay for a round egg and also some people can’t eat liquid egg Nonetheless, she said I got you. I’ll put your name in your book. Just come back and remake your breakfast so we have the hashbrowns to the dog, put the coffee in the fridge and went out to breakfast.
We had a heck of a time finding any place open, but finally did that’s why we buzzed into McDonald’s was because they were open and we thought a hot breakfast!
We certainly were inconvenience so upon returning to the store today, I ordered our meal again and pulled up and they said I had a total and I said I don’t have a total dude. This is a breakfast from Desiree and the two women who were in the back booth one of them was named Angie started arguing with me that we only get sandwiches per the manager and I said no that is not how this is gonna work because we were so inconvenienced and we were not able to enjoy our breakfast you’re gonna replace the whole breakfast or I wanna refund She said continuously I only get the sandwiches.
I repeated to her that is not what was expressed to me on the phone call nor is that even fair considering the circumstances it was Christmas Eve day we drove away with a breakfast that we could not eat. It was not complete and had a folded egg on there that we can’t eat.
What was most interesting is there was no apology like so sorry about that. No problem. We’ll be happy to comp the entire breakfast as was promised on the phone. Sorry you drove off with full of eggs and we didn’t tell you. It’s interesting. How customer service is handled in 2025.
A good store with a good manager would’ve immediately interjected those two women in the back booth and said listen. It’s hashbrowns and coffee. Give her her meals like I told her she could have. I should’ve just asked for a refund.
Because if you think I trust the people that made those sandwiches or touched our food or poured our coffee today – no we don’t, not after that argument. It should’ve been a smooth, easy experience they should’ve said. We’ll be happy to give you your two small black coffees will be happy to give you your two hashbrowns.
Poor service here and the manager Desiree was in the house but didn’t want to come to speak with me. Probably because then she’d have to be accountable for saying we’ll remake your breakfast, I got you our bad.
To Angie the drive thru worker, she needs retraining on how to handle customers whose orders were wrong and the true meaning v of good customer service. This wasn’t about hash-browns and drinks.
This was about inconvenience they caused, no communication about folded liquid eggs on Christmas Eve day – AND breakfast plans where we had to go spend another $15-25 on breakfast again.
Ridiculous and we threw away the remake because the two workers in the pay window were so vile about the matter we decided how can we even trust what we are eating?

What an unfortunate experience at this McDonald’s that I experienced. I came through the drive thru and was the only person in line for 15 minutes for the employee with a bad demeanor come over the intercom just to tell me I didn’t wait that long. I didn’t eat at this McDonald’s due to the unexpected service I experienced. Working in customer service for about 8 years and this is not the kind of employee I would like serving me my food on any kind of day. Her approach was very disturbing and very unprofessional I will be reaching out to cooperate for this event. This event happened at 3:30am Monday January 12th 2026. This female had eyebrow piercings, a septum piercing, dark hair, and looked to be around 5’3.

We pulled up and ordered on the app. We got to the window and they asked if we wanted a receipt. We got to the pickup window and, sadly, it was after we paid that they informed us that the holiday pie we ordered was not available and would we prefer something else. Apple pie or cookies. We got the cookies and, honestly? They are not very good even though they were warm. They forgot 1 of the items we ordered and screwed up a couple other items (no onions but got onions, no cheese but got cheese, that type of thing). We haven’t been to this location before and the wait was a lot longer than at any of the other ones we’ve been to and the quality was just subpar. We are already on the fence about eating at McDonald’s as a whole and this visit really didn’t help.

They’re starting to fuss about doordashers and Uber eats drivers if we don’t stop at the speaker because they hide behind their closed doors and so we’re stuck wasting our gas that you do not compensate us for while the McDonald’s down the road we can walk inside at the same time at 3:00 a.m. in the morning. Or I can walk inside the IHOP that’s right across the street. Not waste my gas. Then the manager says to me that I have to understand that we only have two people in here. Well you have to understand that your manager does not pay for my gas and when you do then I will understand. But I do not operate a charity for the McDonald’s corporation. The McDonald’s manager suggested that I go all the way back around the line so I can talk to them through the speaker. So I made a video for you at the same time of day walking into the IHOP across the street. There’s something missing when it comes to intelligence about how you operate your business when it comes to delivery drivers.

It’s McDonald’s so not much to expect. Food is as expected, service is slow but varies on who is in front of you. My order was quick but the guy in front of me made it a long journey for a supposed to be quick trip.
