Kurimu is such a fun spot for Japanese-style soft-serve ice cream with creative and unique flavors! Their soft-serve is creamy, delicious, and definitely the highlight of the menu.
The staff are friendly and the service is really good, which makes the experience even better. We also tried their bubble teas, just a heads-up, they’re more subtly sweet compared to the usual bubble teas, so if you’re looking for something super sweet, this might not be the place for that.
But if you’re here for soft-serve (which you absolutely should be), you won’t be disappointed. Definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to try something different and tasty! ✨

I asked for a suggestion to the staff and went with the suggestion to order my ice-cream. I didnt like the flavor. I said that and was expecting to exchange it. Any place would replace it for free. But she said she can give another one but I need to pay for it. We ordered for more than $40 and this is how we were treated. Like everyone complains, the portion size is really small for the price. However, i was told by my family people that other items they ordered were good. I really dont like posting bad rating but for the portion they give they cant replace a disliked ice cream is not appreciative.

I guess you can say the ice cream is slightly overpriced but that’s fine with me since I like the flavors. They don’t have the traditional flavors that you can find at any Baskin Robbins, but they do have unique flavors if you’re willing to go with an open mind. I took a video, you’ll have to pause it to see all of the flavors. They have new flavors for soft serve if you follow their social media. I came here many times. It’s best to go before 9 pm on a week day otherwise you’ll get more teenagers and tweens. They only have a couple places to eat the ice cream but if you walk past the Selfie World, you’ll find a bunch of benches to sit at. The employees are always pleasant and helpful.
This time I got the black sesame cookies ‘n cream, ocean blue mint, and midnight vanilla cone. The sesame flavor was strong and I liked the cookie chunks. Ocean blue mint was good, just tasted like regular mint. The cone did not crumble easily, the vanilla flavor was subtle. The mango flavor isn’t very strong but you can definitely taste the pandan. If you like pandan, it’s worth checking out before they change the soft serve.

Kurimu is a very unique ice cream shop. They have lots of unique flavors that are very delicious. You can sample flavors before making your selection. It’s hard to make a selection because everything is so delicious. The staff here in my experience have been very welcoming. I visit Kurimu every time I am in the area and they never disappoint.

The creamiest and most flavorful ice cream I’ve had. I was told Hokkaido ice cream is the best and it lives up to the hype. The taro/Thai iced tea swirl was a perfect combination and it’s unfortunate to not be offered every month. The taro was earthy and not too sweet to balance out the Thai tea. They have a dozens of unique flavors of scoop ice cream and drinks. Staff were friendly even during the rush with offering samples of the durian flavor. The space is slightly cramped

Stopped by for the grand opening. Even tho the shop was full stop was very patient and kind. Since this was my first time trying out this place they helped my out for picking the flavors. The quality of the ice cream is amazing. Flavors are on point. Make sure to check out their locations. The interior decorations are also very cute and make the shop look lively.

Preordered for pick up. They were out of a flavor I asked for in my two scoop and so when I came in he told me and I said I would take matcha. But then he left out the other flavor I asked for, and only gave me matcha and didn’t put the boba topping on I paid for. Then I said oh the topping is missing and my other flavor isn’t there that I ordered? He said oh he already gave me only matcha and he can’t fit my topping so gave me a little cup of boba. This is not the way to make it right for this price. The matcha taste was way too strong and not tasty. On top of this the space smells like the exhaust fans don’t work and it smells like a stinky bathroom. I won’t return.

Super cute themed place. Good ice cream choices. Went in the last hour of opening for the day, and it was still busy. Wait time about 5-8 minutes to get your order after you order it. Can’t wait to learn what the next theme is.

My kids and I visited the day of the Peanuts launch – I dragged them to stand in line to wait for the tote bag . I love how they have the place decorated, it looks fantastic. All three of us got the soft serve (Charcoal Chocolate and Setoka Orange) and it was delicious. It was, of course, very busy but I felt the staff handled the crowd well. We’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Been to Woodfield Mall several times and the Streets of Woodfield a few times but stumbled onto this adorable shop thru Google maps.
Saw the pics so I knew I had to take the kids and my wife who grew up watching the Peanuts gang as well as myself. Loved the Charlie Brown comics and cartoons!
Venue is too cute and the ice cream & bubble tea are delicious. Shop is kept spiffy clean/sanitized, service is friendly & helpful and prices may seem a bit high like some have stated but look at the area you’re in.
Live up in NE Lake County just a few miles south of the WI border so not exactly close to this location but I could easily come back if ever wandering the area.
