This is a lovely place to come. It’s casual, but the food is very good. I don’t think you can go wrong ring with what you order. Everything I’ve tasted so far has been very good!
The service is friendly and fast. They bring out drinks and refills quickly.
The place is like a seafood restaurant for lost in the piedmont. Lots of random seafood things hanging on the walls or from the ceiling.
I only have minor critiques about the food. This is really me nitpicking, but I do notice it. I make better grits than they do. Their grits tend to be under seasoned, but the grits absorb other flavors which helps. The pasta is overcooked and a little on the mushy side. Everything else law is spot on though!!

I am so surprised I haven’t added a review yet since we frequent Bennett Pointe Grill. It is a local favorite, and they have a room that can be reserved for dinner parties. We have had many family events in that room. The food is always good and the drinks are reasonably priced. My favorite burger is the one with the pimento cheese, which is also great. I haven’t had anything bad there. My favorite dish is the shrimp and grits. It’s one of the few places they take the tails off the shrimp! The flavor is so good a d this salt a holic doesn’t have to add salt. The deserts are made for them special by a local lady and they make amazing Key Lime pie in-house. Definitely get by there for a fabulous dinner.

Came in on a Tuesday night with a group of 5. Got the buffalo bites as an appetizer, they were pretty good. Biggest issue is that our food took over half an hour to come, while everyone else around us were getting their food including some who came in after. Explanation was that the “fresh veggies” were still being prepared. It made no sense why the rest wouldn’t come out while they prepared that. No one was apologetic about it, nor was compensation provided. Had to ask our waiter multiple times for items or check service. Unfortunate for my first experience, will probably not come back.

First time here with my family as my husband suggested this restaurant since he works down the street. Let me first say that I absolutely love the menu that reminds me of a newspaper.I had the crocodile cooler and pasta carbanora with side salad. My daughter and husband both had the burger with fries. It is my favorite Friday restaurant. I like to eat sea food on Friday and you can’t find a place with fresh and delicious seafood with affordable prices like this. Never disappointed and if you chose to go at dinner time, I don’t think that you will go wrong with the fish special of the night. Love the crab cakes sandwich. And yesss there is a lot of white elderly people there and I love it because it means wise people eating real and delicious food not just fast food in somewhere. It Feels like welcoming people

Solid local spot. I recommend checking out the history of Bennet place. The menu hasn’t changed … ever, but it’s solid. Great prices and good atmosphere for those looking to relax and avoid Durham and downtown hillsborough.
Great service. You can sit in the main dining room area and they’ll do things like push tables together so your family can sit together. Or sit in the bar there are large booths if you can grab one. Or just eat at the bar. Large selection of booze, and fish in the wall.

First time eating here. Came at 6 on a Friday night. It was busy but not oppressively so. Service was prompt and polite. We ordered the boneless wings and the ribeye with veggies and salad, all to share between the two of us. Wings were good — crispy with generic saucing. Salad was nothing special / nothing bad, ribeye was ribeye i.e. rather fatty, and the mixed veggies honestly looked gross but were not as overcooked as they appeared. All in all, not so bad that I wouldn’t come again, but not so good that I’m recommending it to all my friends. Hopefully we’ll be more impressed on try 2!
