Came here with my mom. It was my first time ever. I got the seafood platter and mom got the lemon pepper fish. The food is so so good!! Mom asked for hers to be blackened and the first time it wasn’t. The second time it was great and the manager rob even came to check on us. Rob really made out experience one well will definitely remember and we’ll definitely recommend this location in particular!

Relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable setting. Large menu, with a variety of delicious seafood entrees. Portions are very large. The food was absolutely delicious. The green beans are full of flavor. The spinach was delightful. The grilled shrimp were cooked to perfection. Food was delivered promptly after being delivered through the kitchen pass window. Restrooms were clean. If you want some reasonably priced seafood, don’t pass this place up.

10/10 so amazing, wish we found this place sooner! Lobster roll was so good, as well as trout, hush puppies, and rice! Everyone was very friendly and the place was well run and clean!!

Good evening!
Not only is Sea Island’s ceviche and buttered spinach good, the grilled shrimp and the Mahi Mahi tacos are also styled to perfection, too. I mean it when I say it, the team and staff located in Selma, their hospitality services are beyond valid. The food is hot and the price is right! In particular, a manager named Robert never hesitates. He is extremely personable, and I feel small details show and signify strength and quality. After all, this is what good customer service is really all about. There’s no doubt in my mind other customers notice the kindness that eludes from this sweet, hard-working young man. He is always, always, always so kind and attentive! He carries an awesome energy. His customer service is top tier, and it is wonderful how he is always eager to hear how I’m doing, how the food tastes and he listens carefully, every time! His smile comes easy for him, as his sincerity is pure, kind and very warm-hearted. Give this guy a promotion! I’m happy for Sea Island because of him! He really helps the company keep its good name!
Happy 2026, Sea Island
A valued customer,
Ms. Morgan Lutz

This was a to go order so I will give 3 stars for service and atmosphere. For years Sea Island was our go to place for seafood. At one time I loved the charbroiled shrimp and hush puppies. Sadly Sea Island has consistently gotten worse over the years. I decided to try it again last night for the second time in ten years. I hoped it would be better than the last time we ate there. My husband tried to talk me out of it but I wanted those charbroiled shrimp. The shrimp was flavorless and had too much breading. The hush puppies had too much flour and were tough. I couldn’t tell if there was any corn meal in them at all. Seasoned rice seemed parboiled and was under cooked. My husband’s southern fried catfish was anything but southern fried — sad little soggy pieces of fish. Green beans are ok but have too much tomato for me. Overall the meal was a bust. I apologized to my husband. I will not be back. So sad that a place that once had people waiting on line for an hour or more because the food was good for a reasonable price is now exploiting it’s customers by serving crap. I find it amazing that they are still in business.

Our first time here. It reminded me of our time in Pensacola and the sea food restaurants there! Awesome sea food here. I got the coconut shrimp plate with fries and coleslaw. It was yummy, and the servings were big. My husband got the shrimp po boy with fries. We also got hush puppies and an extra side of coconut shrimp. The service was awesome. The dining area was super clean and kept up, especially after people were done eating. We went during lunchtime, not too busy, but still enough people to see that this is yummy food. We highly recommend this place. Being new to the area, we will definitely be back.

We haven’t had Sea Island yet this year because they changed their lunch menu around. That and it’s about a half hour ride from the house. We decided to splurge today, and I ordered our usual, The B lunch, A #14 lunch and one piece of Key Lime pie. The pie was supposed to have been a little treat for my wife. When I was handed my food in the car, I placed the bag on my lap and tied it into a knot so nothing would fall out. Boy, was my wife disappointed when I got home and opened the bag to find no pie. At $4.00 a hunk, I needed to decide if an hour round trip was worth going back to the store… Needless to say my wife didn’t get her pie. Sea Island scored a big profit off me today.

We come eat here a lot and always enjoy the food and their great service. But for the last few times we have especially noticed one young man by the name of “Alex C” and just had to send in a shout out. He is always hustling and working hard and always with such great attitude and so very courteous. I mentioned this to one of the managers and asked that he be recognized. Not always do you receive this kind of great customer service, especially from a young person

There was absolutely nothing special about the food. I am sad to say the fish was rubbery and had zero flavor. The hush puppies were cold, fried okra had been sitting around awhile, and I was so disappointed I didn’t even try the spinach. I’m sure it was just popped out of a can and heated up. I will not be a rerun guest.

The food is tasty, reasonably priced and the staff is kind! Today, the manager, Rob, took excellent care of my girlfriends and I. One of my friends didn’t care for the flavor of her meat on the kabob. Rob was quick to explain their ingredients and offered her a new choice of platter. He was social and expressed confidence in his position. Thank you Sea Island!
