We have been eating food from this restaurant for many years. It’s always been mediocre but still decent and fairly good amount. Yesterday is the first time we’ve gotten carry out in quite a while. I got to say they must have somebody new in the kitchen because the food was extremely good. Some of the best fried rice I’ve ever had. Beef with broccoli, General Tao Chicken and orange chicken they were all very good. Did I get lucky? I really don’t think so. I believe they brought in a new chef and the food was very good

This business deserves more kindness! Some complain about the owners limited English, or just when they’re overwhelmed and having a bad day. Put yourself in their shoes… they came here to build dreams not for just themselves but their children as well. The owners are there 6 days all day… they sacrifice their own time to feed the community and to send their children to good schools including MSU. Every good parent wants to see their children have more than they’ve had in life and put their children’s wellbeing, education, needs, and wishes before their own. ❤️

Always generous portions, good food, and deals! I love the chicken with mixed vegetable, wonton soup, chicken + cashew, and crab ragoons!
I support them becoming a carryout only restaurant since COVID ! The building isn’t super big as it is and they need the extra room for supplies to make sure they can take care of every order. I remember when they offered dine-in years ago, they didn’t have much room for a decent size dining area as it was.

Plenty of food and the food tasted great! Price is reasonable and some seating for a family of 5. Well worth stopping here. GPS had us in front of Wendy’s it is actually next to Fowlerville Dental and behind Wendy’s.

China Gourmet is a family own business. The restaurant has been in operation for more than 20 years. The staff always greet with a smile as I walked in and are always helpful. Would recommend calling the order before hand and only have take out option (no delivery). The ordering time is really quick and by the time I arrive (10 minutes) they were already finish. The food is really cheap and delicious. Would recommend the General tso chicken, Chicken with vegetable, Sweet and Sour chicken, and the Lomein. I will be coming back and would recommend. They have a inside booth because of COVID restriction.

I haven’t eaten here for probably 5 years after a couple “just okay” dining experiences. I ordered takeout tonight and was honestly impressed with this place! Large portions, hot & fresh, very tasty, and ready on arrival! I’ll be back again and again!

Service is quick. The food is great, not the best around but very good still. Portions are incredible. I’m very thankful to have these wonderful people running this place in this small town. The employees are always friendly and kind and out of all the years I’ve ate here I’ve never had an issue.

To start off I have eaten here before and it has always been decent. But today will be the last time I’ll ever eat there. I got the almond chicken and it was very chewy and soggy every bite had chunks of fat in it only thing decent was the fried rice which is the only thing I ate.

lets see first off I ordered 2 dinners, Almond boneless chicken and beef egg foo young, I received two containers of gravy both were chicken gravy? what happened to the beef gravy for beef egg foo young? second, the egg foo young had almost 0 bean sprouts and tons of huge chunks of onions yuck. third, the dinner’s are supposed to come with egg rolls when I got home and opened the bag I seen 2 very small Spring rolls. obviously they don’t know the difference between egg roll and spring roll (had carrots in them). the fried rice was just mediocre at best. Although I have to admit the only item I liked was the almond boneless chicken.

My favorite Chinese food within the Fowlerville/Howell area. The food is always fresh, tasty and the staff are always polite when I pick up my order. Crab Rangoons & Orange Chicken are my favorite. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some good Chinese food!
