The pulled pork platter with bbq beans and slaw was very good. Lots of selection for bbq including beef ribs chicken etc. Beer available. Great service.

After relocating to Pensacola we were looking for some good barbecue. Coming from Hawaii there wasn’t any in the islands.
Our new neighbors recommended Sonny’s BBQ. Luckily we found a location right in our neighborhood.
We were there for lunch and it got crowded real fast. The atmosphere was airy and bright. Western look all around was excellent.
The food came out fast and hot. Everything on the plates were delicious. We won’t have to travel 5000 miles for tasty barbecue.

Shayla provided exceptional customer service. Ordered brisket grilled cheese and Mac and cheese for side with some down home sweet tea. No wait during lunch, though restaurant was close to 70% capacity. Food was delicious, ate it all. Other customers made comment about how good it looked. Family friendly atmosphere provided quality conversation with other customers. I frequent when driving near interstate.

I made a pick up order online. I notified them by their online option of when I was on the way and when I arrived. I waited 10 minutes and never received my food. I noticed the car next to me had to go inside to get their food because no one came to deliver via curbside. I finally went inside to find the cashier playing towel tug-of-war with a (assumed) male coworker while my food was sitting bagged on the shelf behind her. Of course, my food was cold. At that point, I just wanted to get home. Only thing I can’t understand, when you pay online it asks you for gratuity upfront. I never do until I determine if the service was worth a tip. Seeing as how I asked for curbside, out of convenience of having kids in the car, and no one ever came to the car: no tip. Maybe next time I should choose to pick up inside and I’ll at least have hot food.

Our first stop in Florida every September. We live in Texas and we do not go out for BBQ until we get back to Sonny’s. We try to get 3 meals during our week The food is always amazing and the service is exceptional. Already looking forward to next year.

We eat at Sonny’s Barbecue whenever there is one convenient to us when traveling. The atmosphere is very nice, rustic and comfortable and this store is the same. This is one of the newer stores and also has a cocktail bar included. The food here is very good and consistent like most of the stores. Finally, we have always had good service with Sonny’s and the service here is great.

I had the 3 meat platter and so did my husband.
The pulled pork was very good, the chicken tender was good, the baby rips were great.
And we loved the sides, coleslaw, beans, and garlic bread.
The beef brisket was too dry and somehow lacking taste.
We also enjoyed the bogo beer.
All in all a good experience.
Oh I was intrigued by the 6 bbq sauce bottles.

This was my first time visiting both the city and the restaurant for lunch. The place is clean and nicely maintained. It was packed with customers on Sunday at noon, which speaks to its popularity. The food and service were excellent—highly recommended!
