We’ve been here twice so far & both times the food has been fantastic. The first time we came we ate in restaurant, however this last time we decided to order pick up and eat at a relatives house. Everything was ready quickly, from the point of ordering to when we arrived to grab the food it took about 15 minutes for them to make an order for seven people.
Everyone was happy with their food, it was hot, delicious and full of flavor. I can be pretty picky when it comes to chicken at restaurants, but I found it to be cooked perfectly. In fact they have one of my favorite dishes from Mexican restaurants I’ve tried here in AZ, I love their Pollo Fundido. We also received chips & salsa with our to go order. Everything was a good serving size, many of the dishes come with two sides. I like the consistency of the refried beans they serve, a lot of mexican restaurants tend to serve refried beans that are too thick, not cooked all the way through and don’t really have a lot of flavor, but I like the beans they have here. They also have black beans or charro beans if you want something other than refried beans. The chocolate mini chimis were amazing too! It was a nice way to cap off a delicious meal with family.

Finally tried Garcia’s after hearing great things and it totally lived up to the hype with fun decor and a welcoming vibe. The staff was super kind and our longtime waitress was especially friendly plus the huge chips bowls drinks and salsa were a nice bonus. The food was tasty across the board and we all left happy and ready to come back.

Don’t eat here unless you want to find cockroaches in your food. I’ve been ordering and going to Garcias for years. The only thing I order is tortilla soup. To my surprise when I ordered it at home and put it in a bowl I find a cockroach. I called the manager who was not remorseful at all. She said well we try to…I mean we do have pest control come out and spray but there’s only so much they can do. Which means she knows they have a roach problem. I said well there shouldn’t be any bugs/roachs in anyone’s food she just said yeah I’m sorry. I work in the food industry. If this happened where I work the managers including myself would go above and beyond. I’m disgusted. I’ll make sure I tell everyone about this and how much lack of empathy the management have. I have submitted this all to the health department.

I had the chili verde burrito lunch special. Best I’ve had in a long while at an American Mexican restaurant. Pork was tender, chili verde sauce tasted homemade, not too spicy either (I’m sure they can crank the heat if you prefer). Don’t bother smothering with extra cheese or crema, it’s excellent ala carte. Atmosphere outdoors is way better than the interior, so choose that if it’s an option.

Honestly such a great restaurant! Our waitress was so sweet, we were catching up with family and had been there well after paying out. She did not mind us using the table beyond our meal, and was just so kind to us! I wish I could remember her name, but I do remember her fun earrings being similar in style to mine. Very thankful for the patience!

Went for lunch with my mom on a weekday at 1pm. Lots of lunch traffic, but we were seated immediately. Great attentive service, everything was quick and correct. Food was Great! Fresh and delicious! Didn’t rush us out when we were done, but we spent another 30+ minutes talking thinking we were waiting for the check. Would have appreciated a prompt from the wait staff to let us know we are supposed to pay on trivia game on the back of the table. All in all it was a wonderful, enjoyable and delicious lunch!

Everything about our visit was great from start to finish. The food came out quickly, and everything from the chips and salsa to the main dishes was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, so we definitely recommend Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant.

The waiter first brought chips, salsa and dip. The chips were still warm. Got steak and chicken fajitas. The steak was very good, the chicken was all right. The condoments for the fajitas went well. Just wish the gave a spoon with the rice and refried beans. Finished with chocolate chimichanga with ice cream

The restaurant is quite large so there is plenty of seating available. We were seated in a booth in a part of the restaurant that wasn’t busy so it was nice to have a little less commotion. I think there was a larger group in the other section.
We shared the nachos. They were tasty, what you’d expect with nachos. Not amazing but good. Our server was polite and attentive. I would go back again.
