Good food and service. I really liked the carne asada (steak) tostadas. Steak was juicy and tender. Nice and quick pit stop off of I-65, easy access and parking. Recommend paying with cash, or you may get @1.00 service charge when using a card.

Mexican food Indiana? First if you’re visiting Lafayette, IN. It in itself is a great city. The restaurant is decorated nicely in vibrant colors. The server was great, friendly, attentive & no judgement cause I ordered a lot. So I had a large house margarita. Honestly it’s huge for like two people. The salsa was great. I ordered 3 carna asada tacos on corn tortillas. They were so good 10/10 fresh they are very big as well. Rice and beans were also great. Then I order the shrimp cocktail, it was perfect only thing is I wish the shrimp was cut or smaller. I really enjoyed the food and was super full.

El Rodeo has fantastic food. They are appropriately spacing out seating and wearing masks through the pandemic while being particular about cleaning in between seatings. The food was delicious with great pricing. Would easily come back again.

The Taco Salad is bad! So then they gave me 3 Tacos and they were good. But they still charge me $13.00 for the Taco Salad instead of $9.00 for the Tacos! So they made $4.00 on me. That’s not right!! And the waitress didn’t come around to see if we needed a refill on our drinks!!! The only way they knew about the Taco Salad was the Owner stop by the table..

Stopped there kiz it’s near the expressway. Was.about an hour and a half before closing and it seemed there weren’t too keen on making money. The food was not bad but you really can’t s screw it up. The refried beans looked weird and was just ok. I wouldn’t repeat. The service was very so so. Salsa could have been out of a can.

Generous portions for carry-out. Vegetarian Plate A included a large bag of chips + bowl of salsa; big bean burrito and cheese enchilada; with full-size tostada. Tasty and filling. Staff was courteous and helpful; food ready in minutes. All this for under $12 with tax!
