I had a great time tonight, like usual. Food was GREAT, service was even better. Turns out our favorite hostess is now a server. Chloey was an amazing server but possibly the best host at any restaurant I’ve EVER been to. She has a very positive attitude, and I’ve rarely seen her without a smile.

I had an amazing meal this evening. I was craving breakfast on this rainy day and stopped in at the store in Richmond Kentucky. I was promptly seated and greeted right away. The Food came out fresh and hot 10 out of 10 I recommend. Also Will jaggers was a great server.

Richmond Cracker Barrel food, service, and atmosphere are always top-notch. This has become our families go-to when we don’t want to cook.
Last night’s service was no exception. Having 2 young kids dinners can go off the rails quickly. Kimberly was quick with bringing rolls to keep our kids happy and bellies full before the entrees hit the table.

It was honestly a great experience. 8/10. The best part was my server Briar. He was so kind and I can’t tell you how much he brightened my day. That boy should be a manager! But I’d definitely ask for him personally the next time y’all are in there.

Cracker Barrel has always been a favorite for its comforting, home-style meals and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast is especially great — perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and pancakes that somehow taste even better when served with warm syrup in a cozy, country-themed dining room. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the little country store up front adds a nostalgic charm that’s hard to resist.
However, as much as I enjoy the food and experience, I have to mention a serious issue that happens in the early mornings. Right after they open, the smell inside is overwhelmingly bad — like something sour and musty that hits you the moment you walk in. It’s so strong it can honestly make you feel a little sick, which is a real shame considering how good everything else is. I hope they can figure out what’s causing it, because it really takes away from an otherwise great experience.

When on a road trip, cracker barrel is always a must. We stopped at this one for brunch and got the breakfast burger. The cheesy hashbrowns with runny egg yoke and salty, slightly chewy bacon were a fantastic combination, making for a delicious burger. Our waitress was very kind and attentive, and came back in shock after I had achieved flow state and absolutely housed my food. It always feels like home at The Barrel.
