Our favorite local spot, hands down. If you’re anywhere nearby, this place is an absolute must. The food is consistently off-the-charts, the bar is chill and welcoming, and it’s the perfect spot to meet up with friends and actually want to hang around.
Big shoutout to Kalle, Monique, Angelique, Maddy, Landon, Freddy, and Ash—they’ve been there forever and always bring the best energy. Fun, friendly, and they make every visit feel like you’re a regular.
As for what to order: the crawfish is a no-brainer, and you cannot miss the chicken Tchoupitoulas, crawfish fondue, and swamp fries. My grandson routinely throws down on the kids catfish and cleans his plate every time! Every single one is a repeat-order kind of dish.

We’ve been here several times, always a good experience. I had the blackened catfish. WOW! That catfish was so good, so much flavor, tender, cooked to perfection. Not too spicy, just a ton of flavor. I was confused by the price on the check though, menu said $19, check $27. I should’ve asked but we needed to leave. Just would like more transparency next time. The hush puppies were great, great flavor; just love hush puppies. The red beans & rice, & the okra were disappointing. The red beans & rice just had no flavor, it was very bland. I usually love this but I didn’t finish because it just wasn’t any good. Definitely needs some help here. The okra was over cooked. It probably would’ve been good had it been cooked properly. My wife had the stuffed chicken, again WOW! It had this right off the grill taste, so good. We ordered appetizers, crab cakes & stuffed jalapenos. The crab cakes were very good, great flavor, tender; little small though. The stuffed jalapenos were good, loved the seasoning & flavor; but watch out, they don’t take the seeds out of them. They were too hot to eat after one. Our server was Alex I believe, very nice gentleman. He worked super hard, great customer service. The bathrooms were pleasant, very nice smell to them; & clean. Overall, again great experience.

Tik tok sent me here. I wanted to make this a treat for my friend who is from Louisiana. We both had the same sentiments about this place. The food did not meet the hype. Everything was mediocre. From the hostess, to the server to the drinks to the food. It was not bad, but it was not great. The place gave Louisiana, but the food lacked. Would I recommend, absolutely. Will I be back if I am in the city, probably.

Friday. Fried catfish was good, my fried okra came out 2 min later but was warm not hot and fresh from being fried. Waiter was nice. Tarter sauce is very good!! Hush puppies were bland, dense and dry. Blackened tilapia was very flavorful and mashed potatoes were awesome! Fondue was seasoned well and the garlic toast are a must!!

Had the best waiter! The gumbo and crab stuffed shrimp were both excellent. We had the pecan peach bread pudding and it was exceptional! Had folks from Louisiana in our party, they all agreed it was better than any bread pudding in Louisiana!! 10/10.

i saw a review of someone saying they werent “wowed”. not sure what they were thinking lol but i definitely was wowed! this place is so freaking delicious and seasoned so so good!! i really loved this place and will be back! i had been craving crawfish and it definitely hit the spot. the food my parents got, they loved as well and had amazing flavor

Omg! The food was so good! I couldn’t eat half my food because it was a lot! I got the seafood platter it was $42.99. All I can say is my goodness 4 people could eat off that plate and be full! Every bite was delicious! Our server Angel was amazing! She is very friendly, professional and polite. My glass of water was never empty! Thank you so much! I absolutely love it here!

Update: I came back to update my review. Everything has changed since my last visit. Every Sunday, my Texas family and I get together for Sunday foodies day. Our first viait back in January was great!!! Today, it was the opposite.. The food prices have gone way up and the quality way down. I had the stuffed shrimp, and the rice under the ahimp was cold. The shimp were small shrimp stuffed with filler, not seafood like, the description said. I tasted the food my family ordered, and it was sub-par at best. I am very disappointed and sorry I recommended we come back. To make it worse, one of the main reasons we came back was for the beignets, and we were told they have a new food vendor and no longer sale beignets. This tells me nothing is fresh in the back, and they are just heating from frozen. How are you going to heat from frozen and charge these new prices???
Left feeling completely unsatisfied.

The service was absolutely great. Just a bit pricey. I got the seafood platter (huge) but expected more flavor. Fish was cooked to perfection. The fondue was the star of the dinner. I would go again, but order differently..

I have not been here in about 6 years. The food has greatly improved! I had the blackened chicken salad, and it was delicious! The tables and chairs need to be replaced, and the atmosphere is odd. The music was not Cajun, and the speaker quality was poor. The booths should be replaced, too. No one wants to be head-to-head anymore. The booths with the higher backs are best. Armando is a fantastic server! I am super impressed with him.
