We sat at the bar and service was quick. Paper menu and you check off everything you would like. It’s family style so get a few things. Lychee martini was divine and the chocolate dumpling for dessert were amazing. This is a real treat.

For starters our server Lily made this an incredible first experience! She was so sweet, attentive, and made great recommendations I mean she even helped my boyfriend and I perfect the sauce for the Pork Xiao Long Bao. For cocktails I got the Lychee Martini and the Cucumber Gimlet, both were amazing 10/10. We had to try the infamous string beans with garlic and they were good, but I didn’t quite get the hype 8/10. On the other hand, their Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao deserved all the hype, incredibly cooked 10/10. The sweet and sour pork baby back ribs were a little too sweet for our like, but cooked well 7.5/10. The shredded Kurobuta Pork fried noodles were nice and savory, but I would’ve liked more pork 8.5/10. The star of the show had to be their black pepper beef tenderloin, not only was it cooked incredible but the flavor is perfect 10/10. We ended off with their chocolate & mochi Xiao Long bao, so so good especially with the sweet cream for dipping! Such a great first experience, I would definitely recommend this for any type of celebration or even a date night.

I had lunch at Din Tai Fung today, and I have to say the experience was outstanding. The service was truly top-notch — our server walked us through the menu with such care and detail that even if you’ve never been here before, you’ll feel completely at ease. It almost felt like a mini history lesson in the best way possible.
The food itself was incredible. Every dish came out looking beautifully presented, and the flavors lived up to the visual appeal. I honestly wished I had the stomach capacity to try everything on the menu because so many options caught my eye.
My standout favorite was the short ribs — unbelievably tender and packed with flavor.
I’ll definitely be coming back, not just for the food but for the whole experience. Highly recommended.

The food was awsome everything came out fresh and hot. The spicy chicken dumplings was the best I had. The cucumber salad was good, the honey lemonade my favorite drink there. Everything we order was good.

We had an amazing experience at Din Tai Fung. Amazing food! How do they make green beans and cucumbers that good? We had so much fun and our server Niena was so fun and engaging. We felt like we were her only table.

I’m so full right now. Food and service are fantastic. Zac was our server tonight. He was great. We’ve never had a bad experience here and the whole family loves the sharing plates.
We had the pork dumplings with the soup in them, chicken fried rice, spicy noodles, garlic green beans, and the cucumber salad. The cucumber salad is a must to start things off and you must follow with the chocolate buns for dessert. Yes, you want the creme that comes with the chocolate buns. So gooooooood!
Get reservations or you might have to sit at the bar.

Just completely amazing. My friend had to take thepictures of the food, after I had started eating, because I was ready to dig in. I was completely and absolutely happy with this dining experience. The food portions are enough for everyone to share. I just wish we had something like this nearby, where I live, but I guess I would just have to move to Washington State

Dad and I went to Din Tai Fung at Southcenter (south Seattle) for lunch. The only downside is the restaurant was too dark and I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see the menu. The servers were sweet, friendly and lifted my spirit. We ate: Chicken Xiao Long Bao (The handcrafted soup dumplings with their signature 18 folds); Fried Rice with California-grown rice and cage-free eggs and chicken; String Beans with garlic; Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao. It was delicious!
