I came here for the first time with my mom. I truly mean this, but I had one of the best ribeye steaks in my life here. Everything was superb. The atmosphere alone of the restaurant is beautiful and the food, of course is top notch. Another layer of quality from our waitress Nicki with five star service. I will definitely be back soon

This review is a little late, but I had to write it! My coworkers and I go to dinner once a month, and for October we chose Ruth’s Chris in Chesterfield. I made our reservations online, and everything went smoothly.

When we arrived, the host was friendly and quickly showed us to our table. Greg, our waiter, was wonderful—professional yet funny, polite, and very attentive. He placed our napkins for us and immediately asked about our drink and water preferences.

I ordered the T-Bone steak with a baked potato and grilled shrimp, along with a Coke. One of my coworkers had the stuffed chicken with mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad, while another had the Cowboy Ribeye with asparagus and mashed potatoes, plus the Veal Osso Buco Ravioli as an appetizer. Every dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor!

We finished the night with the carrot cake to go, and it was absolutely delicious. From start to finish, the service and food were top-notch. We’ll definitely be back!

Lunch at Ruth’s Chris was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was amazing and the entire experience felt welcoming and intentional. I genuinely felt seen and well taken care of, which made the visit even more special.

Joey, the general manager, was incredibly pleasant, professional, and kind. He took the time to check in and ensure everything was perfect, and his hospitality did not go unnoticed. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, and the staff worked together seamlessly to create a memorable dining experience.

I will absolutely be returning and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for excellent food and top tier service.

Ruth’s Chris has long traded on a certain promise: blazers at the bar, hushed tones in the dining room, and steaks so indulgent they justify the ritual. It’s a brand built on gravitas – fine dining as theater, where the experience is meant to feel as rich as the menu.

On a recent date night, however, that illusion frayed almost immediately.

Pop music pulsed where classical restraint once set the mood. The first-floor bar next to our table doubled as a thoroughfare, less a place to linger than a makeshift bus station for passing traffic. Despite the sign at the entrance for business casual attire, casual clothes and loud children were everywhere. Our server, clearly knowledgeable, delivered that expertise with an ease that tipped into overfamiliarity, casual to the point of eroding the sense of occasion, with sales nudges that felt more transactional than curated.

The bill, however, remained firmly committed to the old mystique. Two salads. Two glasses of wine. Two cocktails. A chicken entrée, a steak entrée, and two sides. Just shy of $350 all in.

For that price, the experience should linger. Instead, we left underwhelmed and mildly irritated, doing the mental math on the walk out. The same spend could have delivered two or three meals elsewhere – places with warmer atmospheres, sharper energy, and food that holds its own without leaning so heavily on reputation.

Ruth’s Chris still wants to be a symbol. This night, it felt more like a memory of one.

We went for dinner for my husband’s birthday & everything was spectacular! All the food was cooked perfectly & was delicious! The service was top notch from our waiter, Tyler! Several people checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our experience which was very nice. They even brought my husband a birthday dessert complete with a candle to match his outfit! It was a wonderful experience & we will definitely be back! Thank you all for the exceptional dining experience!

My wife and I were very happy with our experience! We sat at the bar for a couple drinks before dining. Perfect pours with our cocktails. The meal was cooked exactly as requested. Our waitress was friendly and took care of our dining needs. We are very pleased with everything. I enjoyed my birthday cheesecake very much!

Never fails to impress! Fantastic service, everyone working was extremely friendly and happy! Seated fast. Amazing cut of meat and made perfectly! Service was Top Notch!! Our Server Luke A-mazing. Manager Amazing too. Its my Birthday. My Hubs took me out. Heard we needed to go here. Ordered a Ribeye Medium with 2 giant Shrimp,he got a Ribeye with Lobster. Our steak’s were Rare. No prob,they sent back,not just my steak,but his was also rare. The Brocolli Wow sooooo good. Well 2nd round of Ribeye’s,his was ok. Mine was well done. Sent my steak back,came back out a little under cooked,i kept it,i was Hungry. The taste was Great,Server felt horrible. They gave me some complimentary Carrot Cake. My Hub’s felt like me getting 3 steaks cooked was a little ridiculous they messed it up 2 times,and tge 3rd i was hungry,and gave up. He did not get a Discount(we do ot have any expectations like that,i worked with food for 25+ years),it was just a disapointment so messed up,and paid $267.00 left a Big Tip. Our Server was perfect! They Tried.

Top notch food service, atmosphere. Issac is the BEST server. Try to get his section. I don’t reccomend the stuffed mushrooms. The crab cakes, steak, and mixed drinks. The restroom is with the hotel and it’s tiny, but you can use the one across from the check in/out counter
