I tried to play billiards. Told we cannot call winners because the tables were determined by who was on them, got kicked out because we called winnersThe tables were run by “patrons” not by repespective winners and money spenders. Love this place, has quickly become a regular haunt for me. Karaoke with Craig is always a good time. The bartenders Sam, Matt & Connor are amazing, funny & super attentive. The vibe is so chill and welcoming. I personally love that I can smoke inside and it’s not overpowering/cloud like so the smoke eaters work well here.

Diamond in the rough, needed a place for food and beer. Sandwiches bigger than I ever thought and tasted so good (even though I could finish half) Shady Club! Beers also reasonable….will be back when I’m in town!¡!¡!

Came here a few weeks ago with my husband on a Saturday night. We live in the neighborhood across the street and it was my first night going out since having a baby a couple of months ago. As soon as we walked up to the bar the young man who was bartending that night said “I’m not serving you guys” I hadn’t even greeted him or asked for anything yet. I was so surprised I asked him if he could repeat himself because it was so loud and he said “I’m not serving you guys leave.” My anxiety was already so high because it was my first night without my baby so we just left without question. I went home and never ended up having a drink that night because that whole situation killed my mood. I’ve been wondering for weeks why he was so cold. Did we look young? Yes but if he had checked out ids we are both well above drinking age. Were we inebriated? No it was our very first stop. I used to really enjoy this place before I got pregnant but that situation made me feel humiliated and I wish he would have been kinder to me. He’s also the same bartender that would serve us when we went last year. I’ve gone out to another local bar since the situation and was able to enjoy my drink but I don’t want to return to Shady Oaks after how I was treated that night.

4 stars. I love dive bars. I’m from up north so there’s no smoking inside of bars. Friendly bartender, cant remebe hos name , white dude about 30? W brown hair and a hat. I ket his baby mama and played pool w her and some dude named Stella. I had fun. The bar food is limited but I got a beef patties, and there’s a sub shop down the way that will bring your food to this bar (same shopping center). Jukebox , 2 pool tables, cheap beer, friendly staff and customers. I had a few different guys hit on me, I dont know how I feel about it tbh, lol, hard pass lol, but I will visit thos place again. Oh they have darts and karaoke like 4 nights a week
