Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

When I pulled up to the window, the Employee greeted me with the price of my order. At that point, she immediately started going back-and-forth talking to the other Employee that was in the store. I told her that I would like to have picante sauce and grape jelly with my order. She replied OK. The issue that I have is when I got home, my sandwich was cold, and the sausage was dark and greasy. This tells me that the sausage has been sitting for quite some time. Also, I had no picante or grape jelly in my bag. There is no excuse for this because the restaurant was not even busy. I was the only customer in line. I will not be returning to this location.

Food was good but instead of having grilled onions on our patty melt they just cut up raw onions and put it on our sandwich. If they would have put grilled onions on it like we have always gotten them or would of been a five star . The raw onions must be a Oklahoma thing because in Texas they grill the onions on for the patty melt.

I had a small issue and only left feedback and management reached out to me within the hour, apologized and invited me back for a free meal. I called to verify the meal and one of the employees asked who sent the email so i started to look and on shift management got on the phone. I let him know that i was offered a free meal and without hesitation, the young gentleman told me to come in and it was no problem. Very professional management working at this location and i would definitely recommend making this your store.

Got my order wrong at first but they fixed it for me no problem or questions asked. good service. decent food. got a bacon whataburger no pickles, no onions, very big. i dont mind mustard on my burgers but they do put alot of it on it so if you dont hate mustard but dont love it go for no mustard. cant rate the tea as they were out of sweet so i had to get unsweetened and add sugar. i doubt i got the sugar to tea ratio right. fries are decent salt is balanced, a little cold some are crispy and some are soft. ive had better but this is decent but probably wouldnt be my first choice (also drinks are HUGE a medium should be enough for anyone

I had a wonderful experience this morning . I ordered a sausage breakfast on a bun ranchero and they nailed it. North of here it is rarely made correctly. But this morning the staff was so friendly and helpful and seemed like that have ENOUGH staff which is a big deal since Covid to get people to be reliable! Yummy food, no line, great service . I got 6 breakfast burritos to go for my workie and they were good too. Thanks for a great experience guys !

It took 24 minutes to get our order all the tables were dirty and my burger had more mustard then meat and veggies combined! I would definitely make the trip several miles further west to the other location next time!

How hard is it to put ketchup in the bag? I placed my order and was told to pull around, I specifically asked Craig to please put ketchup in my bag. Waited and got my food and surprise there was no ketchup. I had just worked 10 hours on my day off and just wanted to grab some food and head home to eat and rest. I went around the building and there was only 1 car in the drive thru so I waited behind it and when I made it to the window I was looked at by the same person who turned around and piddled around for about 5 minutes before opening the window. I asked for ketchup and he handed me 2 and I left. No sorry, no nothing. Poor customer service.

It’s always hot or miss. Definitely get them to read your order back to you. That still won’t guarantee it’s correct, but you have a better chance. If you have time, I recommend checking any item you ordered with changes. Example: no mayo, add ketchup.

The lady at the window at this moment is very unwelcoming and kind of rude. I tried to hand my card to her and reached my arm out as far as I can because I can’t get close to the window like that and she could of easily helped but put the machine out the window and told me “that’s as far as I’m reaching” I kept saying thank you and she just ignored every word that came out my mouth. When I was at the order screen she rushed me and was annoyed.
