Hee haw! I say. The good old boys kind of feeling. You can’t resist the pies or cookies and of course, their delicious burgers and fries! I love this place. I have never been to one before and decided to come on by and give them a try. I love Texas, so I know this has got to be good and guess what? It’s sure is good!

Great experience! I ordered the blue bacon burger and it was delicious and their beer battered fries were too. The fries came in a generous portion and their Chubbys sauce has just a hint of sweet to it – it was fantastic. They brought our meals out quickly. I’d go again!

There were 9 of us mixed reviews. All had different burgers sides fish ect. I don’t recommend the fish not so good, tarter sauce was gelatinous, coleslaw was very bland, Mac and cheese microwaved way too long, burgers were okay, fries were okay not hot. The shake was good.

Ordered the pastrami burger, Utah burger, shrimp basket, kids meal, Rueben and the chubby burger challenge (for our 13 year old). All were amazing.. I recommend the beer batter fries. The challenge hamburger was HUGE with tons of fries. He got pretty close but didn’t quite make the 15 minutes.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. My wife, who loves to play the guess where I don’t want to eat game, will always say yes to this place. The burger’s are prepared really well. The buns are delicious and don’t distract from the glory of the meat and fixings. In fact, the buns enhance it, which is rare with burgers. The fixings are substantial and fresh.
My wife loves the chicken sandwich and she will have them put on a heat sauce and a sweet sauce. They will adapt without a concern.
The fries, often the sidekick, are stand alone objects of delightful deliciousness. They are beer battered and just plain yummy. We usually split one large fry as the portions can be immense.
We always leave full and happy. And still able to drive despite the beer-battered fries. Kidding aside. They are good.

I actually haven’t been to the pleasant Grove chubbies. But I’ve been to a few others. It’s always the same and always good. Good burgers. For sure. If you want stuff that leaves McDonald’s in the processed dust. Go to chubby’s.
