Wonderful date night at Tosca Ristorante. Our second time there and we’ve enjoyed both times, more actually this second visit. Food was delicious. Service was excellent and friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was cozy and romantic and elegant. Definitely planning our next visit!

I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The atmosphere is modern, bright and well decorated. Every single pasta dish was a pure delight. The aroma and flavour were quite present. The service was excellent as they were very attentive to our requests. The pistachio gelato was a must, imported directly from Italy.

If you want to pay downtown Ottawa prices for airplane food with an accent, this is the spot. I ordered the veal marsala: about 100 grams of meat in a sad puddle of what tasted like commercial gravy. Marsala? Nowhere to be found. I tried my friend’s spaghetti bolognese—basically pasta in reddish dishwater. The sauce was both watery and flavorless.
Then the bill arrives with a surprise 18% service fee, supposedly their policy for tables of six or more. Funny how this “policy” is written exactly nowhere. No extra service, just an automatic tip tacked on.
Total: $43 for my pathetic veal, no dessert, no drinks. If you enjoy bland food and hidden fees, you’ll love it. Everyone else: AVOID

Delicious food, great Customer service, the waitress was so sweet! Loved the meat and cheese board(antipesto platter), the delicious complimentary bread and pasta (manicotti) which consisted of pasta with cream sauce with spinach and bacon!

The food was good, as was the service. The veal Parmesan was very good. They serve you olives, some type of spicy Italian peppers, and balsamic vinegar mixed with oil for bread. We had the calamari to start which was enjoyable.
The only tough parts were, the curtains next to my table weren’t working properly. It seemed really empty inside and still had to wait a little for our server at times.

The people working there were very unfriendly and they make you feel unwelcome. As for the food it was ok, the carbonara wasn’t bad but the veil didn’t taste good. I ordered a tiramisu for dessert but it was too sweet. My whole experience could’ve been way better if the staff was nicer.
