This is no joke the best food in Hazel Green area! I would extend this to Fayetteville, too! Country fried steak is huge and Perfectly cooked! Okra is perfection! Crispy, not at all greasy, delicious breading. I would eat there every chance available!

I really hate to do give a bad review to a restaurant but I have to be honest. Got food from here and it wasn’t good at all. The safest part is I really wanted catfish but I know that this fish is NOT catfish but SWAI! The look, taste and texture! The chicken and dressing , Mac & cheese, greens.. even yams weren’t good! Please do not advertise catfish and use something else…! I spent $40 but u pray they do better.

Absolutely outstanding delicious home cooking. Everything was so good. I was in area for work and wish I had a place like this where I’m from. The green beans are what you want when it comes to southern style. The mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent. Gravy was so flavorful and rich. Cat fish cooked perfectly. And of course, the slaw was spot on

If you have not been here, you need to come. The owners are very friendly. The food is some of the best southern dishes around. The country fried steak is delicious and the okra is some of the best I have ever had. Don’t forget the greens! It’s hard to find a “southern” cooking place that gets it right, but let me tell you, Everlina’s is doing it better than all of the others. My mamaw would have loved this place and it definitely reminds me of her cooking. Hazel Green, pump this business up!

The food and service was great. Took a little time, but well worth it. The waitresses was nice but her blue hair was very strange. Half the overhead lights were either off or burnt out, not sure. The decorations on the wall were 1990’s Hobby Lobby except for the wonderful paintings/prints of singers. Those are great. I thought the tv advertisement stating “if you see a misspelling, you get a $10 gift card” was genius. It kept me looking at the advertisements, haha. I’d recommend brightening up the place, updating the decor, and piping in some 1970-1980’s country music. I will absolutely return. The food was great!

We’ve driven by Everlina’s numerous times since they opened and today we finally stopped in for lunch. As I sit here writing this review, my belly is still digesting the delicious ribs, collard greens, mac & cheese, baked beans and apple cobbler (all for $10!). The cook and his wife were confident we’d love our meal and they were absolutely right. Generous portions, fresh food, fast & friendly customer service, and a great price…what’s not to like? We absolutely enjoyed our dose of home cooking and will definitely be back! If there’s a better meal in Hazel Green, I’d like to know about it.

Just don’t. We were the only customers at lunch time. It felt like dining in an old flea market that had gone out of business. We couldn’t find the bathrooms (you have to go through the kitchen area to get to it.) The flavor of the food was normal- not superb or bad. The pricing is too high. No kids meals. No sauce on the ribs. Freezer fries. Rolls are straight out of the pack, not heated, & no butter. Served in styrofoam. Clean & paint the place. Make it a walk up, order, & seat yourself spot. This is no sit down restaurant.

Evelyn is BETTER THAN POSEYS!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I order from here ALL THE TIME. The food is always seasoned PERFECT and he loves their beef tips. The Sweet Tea is the best around here, it’s just the way I love it, EVERY SINGLE TIME. I once called up there just praise them on the sweet tea! Our youngest son tasted the food and was like I need to go to this place now, he is only 9. He loves the macaroni and cheese and begs to eat here at least 2-3 times a week! I went in a few weeks ago for the first time, the environment was quiet with the football game on, very warming and polite staff, clean, and my sweet tea was PERFECT! The sweet tea beats McDonald’s and Waffle House, Evelyn you win the sweet tea contest!!!!!!!
