Manager & team members worked efficiently, effectively in guaranteeing our family outing to celebrate my mom’s 84th birthday was great. Whenever an issue arise with the waitress & it was addressed immediately by manager. A concern arises when Alvin ate mac & cheese & discovered a piece of hard, clear plastic bag inside it. He said his gum was hurting afterwards & couldn’t eat anymore. The manager came, investined, apologized & offered to give Alvin a coupon. The fried fish with some pieces were salty, pink & jellylike, mushy inside that wasn’t thoroughly cooked. The manager requested the cook fry hard fish pieces for pregnant woman to avoid salmonella poisoning. My only grievance was that they didn’t have peach cobbler. I learnt that coffee grinds are used if a patron vomits onto the carpet which makes it easier for cleaning staff member.

I was looking for a place that I could bring my family after my father’s burial service. My dad loved Golden Corral so I called Golden Corral in Waldorf and spoke to the manager Cindy. She was absolutely amazing! So professional and sweet. She reserved a room for us and everything was ready when we arrived that day. She checked in on us throughout the dinner and offered her condolences. This woman is one of the best people I have ever encountered in the restaurant industry.

Hadn’t been to this location in years. Decided to give them a go the other day. Recent upgrades/renovations at this location helped to create a pleasant dining experience. Great customer service received from my server (wished I remembered her name cause she did a great job) with the exception of the fly feasting on the pumpkin pie and the old, stale, hard, and dry cake slice of cake I had after my meal, the food was well seasoned to perfection and absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back and recommend dining at this location.

Visited this location about 3 times this month. Food is consistent. Isn’t overly fancy but enough to get the job done. Everything is reasonably seasoned. Fried fish for pescatarian options. Sometimes it’s a bit salty..the taco bar is good addition. Flamed steaks and ribs on the grill. Service is cool. Some people look happy to work, others don’t. Get there before 4pm for the lunch discount

Golden Corral surprised me in the best way. The food had far less sugar and salt than I expected—simple, hearty, and easy on the palate. The dessert bar? That’s a whole show by itself… a feast for the eyes before the stomach ever gets involved.
And the soft-serve ice cream? I swear it pulls the kid right out of me every time.

I came here 1/21/26 around 5:45pm. I tried to pay for two people using cash, female cashier stated she could not break $100. I was paying for 2 people plus drinks. She didn’t even attempt to ask a manager if they could change the bill she only looked at me with dear in the headlights look, so I just walked out. I had to drive all the way to Largo, MD to another Golden Corral, who by the way were able to break my $100. I would have gladly went to another restaurant if my husband wasn’t so adamant about eating at a buffet. I personally will not be coming back, HUGE inconvenience.

Very unprofessional staff, upon my last visit it was just horrible. The steak grill attendant was giving under cooked pieces of steak not specific to your request and then doubled on that he gave you what you asked for, which clearly he doesn’t know what medium well is, could be language barrier idk. When asked to speak the manager my server went to get his spainish speaking supervisor she told my server she doesn’t have time to talk to me about my concern(latina). She then went to another floor supervisor and this guy said he’s sick and can’t talk to me but yet he was handling food (heavy set white male). Finally on my way out she saw the general manager and suggested that I speak with him and I did and he expressed extreme frustration of his his staff behavior and sounded hopeless of getting a good staff. Nevertheless he said he would speak with them and his extension of deep regret of the event that happened he extended a voucher to compensate two guests. Also while there I witness other servers acted like they really didn’t want to work constantly over hearing them speak ill about their work. Horrible place to have a decent meal without seeing disturbing behavior.

Great experience today. Wasn’t overly crowded, plenty of options for breakfast/lunch, and our server Cindy was very attentive. The omelet station needs another worker or more grills to cook on because the wait is too long.
