We as a family had a wonderful dinner party for my nephew’s birthday at Vavalos. Atmosphere was wonderful, service was great as our waitress was very pleasant. Only thing I would hope would change is flavored coffee, not everyone likes it and there isn’t any choice of plain coffee. Food was excellent.

First impression and menu 5 stars. Mussels and shrimp cocktail were perfect appetizers. Didn’t care much for that cocktail sauce but was good. No calamari, on menu though. King cut prime rib ordered medium rare was cut thin to thick resulting in well done on one side and raw on the other. Potato was baked and I ordered sweet potato fries. Having waited 45 minutes for our meals I sent mine back and didn’t eat anything but the fries when they came. My wife had crab legs, they were ok. We had arrived at 5:30 and left at 7:15. Only one other table of 4 in dining area during our time there. We were excited to try a different restaurant and loved the menu choices but were very disappointed with the follow through. We had no issue with the pricing as it appeared reasonable for our choices.

It was our 1st time at Vavalos and we really enjoyed everything! The food was delicious and the service was as well! We had Brianne for our waitress and she’s a gem. She was a very good waitress! I had the prime rib and the spinach dip and homemade chips for dipping in the dip that was also delicious! I forgot to take pictures this time unfortunately next time around I will!

This was our third visit. We came back because our first 2 visits were great. Excellent food and great service. Tonight was not so good. Waited an hour for our food. Only one other table in the dining area which was done eating. Food arrived and was cold and nacho chips were way over done. Fish was not as requested. Not sure what happened but when we complained they gave us our drinks at no charge.

Hours are lacking, evening barmaid during the week is VERY slow and rude. I was completely ignored on a Thursday evening when I went there for a beer and a meal. Others around me, (including a couple that came in after I did), had their food order taken, but the waitress walked past me as if I weren’t even there. SERIOUS owner/ management problem.

Really good selection on Friday Fish Fry’s. Probably at least 8 different options for baked fish and multiple other seafood options. Nice atmosphere and our waitress Gracie was amazing and attentive!

Burgers were DELICIOUS and BIG! really liked the spinach and artichoke dip with the fried chips! Had live music by Randy which was very good and perfect volume to enjoy dinner to.
