Didn’t know what to eat that night so decided on a nearby Mexican place. Oh boy, I am glad I ordered the fish tacos! It was heavenly delicious. The fish, sauce, and other ingredients just worked and worked with synergy. The guacamole was also delicious and paired well with the house made chips. The other grill meats were good but nothing special. I will definitely return for fish tacos!

I visited Taquitos Mexico on Avenue X in Brooklyn, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I ordered birria tacos expecting them to be rich and flavorful, but they had no cheese, no seasoning, and very little taste. The consommé came without a spoon, so I couldn’t enjoy it properly.
I also ordered a shrimp cocktail and asked for Valentina or Cholula sauce, but it took a long time before it arrived. I even asked for cream with the chips and salsa (extra charge), but it wasn’t brought out until after I had already finished my main dish.
On top of that, I ordered chicken wings to go — and they never included them in my order. When I asked for the check, the waitress asked me to pay right away without showing me the bill first, which felt unprofessional.
The waitress herself was kind and sweet, but she clearly needs more experience or some extra help, because the service felt disorganized. Sadly, this was my third visit and each time I’ve left disappointed. I wanted to like this place, but the food and service just don’t deliver.

METAL PIECE IN THE FOOD !!
We frequently order from this place , but tonight when we ordered and bit into the food, there was a huge piece of metal inside the enchiladas. I had to take my husband to seek medical care because he cut his gum and was bleeding, he ended up needing antibiotics and a tetanus shot. When we called the restaurant to let them know , they did not even offer an apology, they just suggested we call seamless to get a refund for the food. Please be cautious and don’t hurt yourselves when ordering from this place. Please don’t get the enchiladas

Food is delicious it’s a cute small place with restaurant seating off to the side so not suitable for big crowds .
Service is ok, waitstaff need to step it up. Our waitress did not check on us and wasn’t so friendly (maybe inexperienced). She also sat down to have her dinner/lunch during our service . Mind you we went for dinner 5pm . There was another waitress helping other tables she seems very attentive ,this is specific to our waitress . She didn’t bring extra plates only brought 2 forks for 5ppl sitting . These complaints are a bit minuscule but attention is key in which was lacked . Also we had to wipe down the table after an employee just finished eating. Hopefully they get their service on point because food was delicious.

Delicious food, authentic cozy interior in Mexican style. Service is so-so, nothing special. If you compare it to European service, it’s the same 🙂 My wife and I have a nice time in this small restaurant from time to time.
