Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I ordered online, picked it up, and came home, but there were no burgers. Instead of Dr. pepper, there was tea! Everything was cold and disgusting in appearance and taste!

First time trying Wataburger and was impressed with the customer service. Cashier took his time and gave solid recommendations. I had the double burger with cheese added grilled onions and mayo- double toasted. The place was clean as well.

First time visiting albuquerque from TX. It was nice to have a familiar place to grab a bite while traveling. The management there were stellar, Samuel was friendly and helpful and got me in and out in no time. The team members had my food hot, fresh snd exactly as ordered. I also got a frosted berry from them and it was delicious. Will definitely be returning to this location before I leave town. Exceptional job, y’all.

Visiting from out of town and was taken here to experience a regional favorite. It’s fun to try fast food that’s not one of the major national chains. They seem to use good ingredients – the burger tasted great. The interior definitely wasn’t the most modern but it was relatively clean. I’d certainly try it again when I’m back.

Placed an order for over 30$. Pulled through the drive thru to pick up my order and she asked if i wanted to wait for the coffee to be made or pick something else. I asked if the rest of my food was ready or if it hadnt been made yet. “Im talking about the coffee.”

I love Whataburger!!! We don’t have any near me, so when I can, I stop and scarf down a perfect greaseball burger, with amazing, hot fries and a Coke!!!! This particular store did a great job, quick service, and great hot food!! Next time I’m in Albuquerque, this is where I am going.

Ruben Garcia was very rude to my husband when he ask the guy did he get the order correctly and he that rude guy said did he wanted the meal to go with the burgers with an attitude and my husband told him no sir just the burgers and he told him thank you twice and then he close the window in his face. He didn’t ask him do he want any sauce or anything he was so rude. Then our burgers was smashed up hopefully they didn’t spit in our burgers from racial profiling

Went in late morning on a Saturday for breakfast and ordered the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit meal with hash brown sticks and coffee which was very good.
The place needs help with personnel as there’s not enough people as service was slow. Staff doesn’t appear to be happy.
It’s a relatively small place but clean and bathroom on right side. The parking lot is very small so you should consider street parking.
