Good morning. I appreciate managers Sheila and Deasia, I hope I spelled your name correctly ma’am, If not forgive me. On Saturday January 12, 2026 they and the lovely and gracious waitress accommodated us with our repast for my son. We arrived at or around 5:30 pm. You all had everything set up. The buffet was delicious, hot, and fresh. The employees are professional, well groomed, and courteous. Restrooms were clean. Outside grounds clean. I just can’t thank you enough. The Gipson/Rumph family send our heartfelt thanks. God bless your families and business.

Not how I remembered it even after the location change, save your money. Used to be excellent sticky tables, tableware with questionable and varying levels of cleanliness, mislabeled items, limited offerings, overwhelming mildew odor- it goes on and on. What did go right is that the people working there were all kind and helpful, and we tipped accordingly.

This place has really gone down hill and I will not visit this place anymore. Not worth it. They were out of many staple items that I usually get. Heard from many friends that if has been like that the last several months. Used to be a great place to go.

Allow me to begin by stating that I have visited locations in Macon both on Eisenhower and on Gray Highway. Additionally I have visited the Warner Robins location on multiple occasions with family and friends. In fact my college friends and I visit the restaurant every year after Ft. Valley State University homecoming before everyone heads home. It been our tradition for 3 years now. I prefaced with the aforementioned statements to evidence that I am not a passing through visiting patron and had an experience on Monday that left me speechless. I had a guest in town who wanted southern cooking and I chose the Warner Robins location because it’s closer to where I live. Upon entry at approximately 5 o’clock, I was able to receive assistance easily, paid for food and waited for my guest to enter. As we prepared to walk for seating, a large roach was observed crawling from near the hot area. Again, not really sure of it, I as well as my guest looked at it to be certain that it was indeed a roach. Another customer then pointed it out to the person who had taken my order. She immediately walked over with a broom and dust pan and stepped on it. As much as I would have wanted to overlook it we could not. I then kindly requested a refund and she directed me to who I assume was a manager on duty stationed at the other register. As I waited to speak with her once she finished assisting another customer her only question was what was the reason I was requesting a refund. I informed her that it was due to the cockroach we observed upon entry into the eating area. She then spoke no other words, looked for what I can only assume was a “code” in order to process the refund, gave me my receipt and stated that the money should be refunded within the next 15 minutes. I thanked her and exited the restaurant. Still concerned my guest and I discussed what her or a manager’s possible responses could have been, yet none were offered. Again, I have visited the Warner Robins location on several occasions and have interacted with other managers for various reasons. All of which had a level of professionalism that was greatly appreciated. I am uncertain what I expected perhaps a simple “I’m sorry” or even an attempt to address the roach sighting but nothing was offered. As a loyal customer the lack of response was even more disappointing than the roach sighting as I value customer service. I wanted to share this review as even situations like this should prompt staff to not treat it as an everyday occurrence but rather help customers to feel that it’s an unfortunate circumstance that they wish had not occurred and apologize and ensure that they will address the problem. I’m sure based on past experiences that this is not an everyday occurrence however training staff to be as alarmed as a customer would certainly go a long way to ensure customers know that the restaurant works to ensure cleanliness etc. staff response in a situation like this can be the determining factor on whether a customer returns.

Since the change in management, the overall quality of the food has noticeably declined. Long-standing favorites have been removed for no apparent reason — including BBQ sauce options (sweet and hot… really?), as well as desserts like chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, and toppings.
The restaurant has lost what once made it enjoyable. Please bring back the higher-quality, made-to-order steaks and menu options that were offered prior to the management change.

My goddaughter and I visited Ole Time Country Buffet in Warner Robins today (1/27/26), and it was a massive disappointment.
First, the restaurant was freezing. When we asked about it, our waitress claimed she’d check with the manager about the heat, but another server later admitted the heating system was actually broken.
The food was even worse. We usually visit the Macon location, which is much better, but decided to try this one since we were in town. That was a mistake. The selection was poor, the cabbage looked canned, and the macaroni and cheese was a joke—just plain noodles with a tiny bit of cheese.
Save your money. This was a total waste of a meal, and we won’t be returning. Give me my money back .

Sibling lunch gathering at Old Times a great choice . The wait was not long . The buffet was stocked with fresh salad , food and desserts . The Food was great . We all ate something different . My bother was on the meat diet so he had his selection to choose from .Food for every kind of diet one might be on . The areas were clean and appealing . Plates and utensils clean .
the waitress returned often and refilled drinks and removed plates . Wish I remembered her name to give her credit for a job well done .The family will return again
The nephews even put on a show in the parking lot . .

Centreville, GA. Great spicy smoked sausage, locally made! Plus perfectly seasoned bbq smoked pork, bbq smoked ribs, fried fish, fried chicken, baked chicken, fried pork chops, and fried chicken gizzards. Plus collard greens, turnip greens, fried okra, green beans, blackeyed peas, real mashed potatoes (said Steve), dressing with gravy, scratch macaroni and cheese, homemade yeast rolls, tender baby Lima beans, tomatoes/red onions/okra, and sweet potatoes. The salad bar had fresh salad ingredients plus seafood salad, corn salad, marinated tomato/cucumber salad, okra/tomato salad, macaroni salad, carrot and raisin salad, broccoli salad and maybe chicken salad. Made with love.
Now some people said the food was salty. It was not. I thought the blackeyed peas could’ve used more salt (plus bacon and onions and black pepper).
Everything was amazing and tasted wonderful! And I didn’t even try the amazing dessert bar.
I loved that the community and staff were diverse and felt at home here.
Highly recommend!

I have worked in service and delivery so I don understand that employees are paid horribly. I also understand that currently times are very hard right now for everyone. But I cannot in good spirit say I can respect our server essentially demanding a tip in the way they did here. It was rudely done and made us feel like we’d done something wrong which in turn makes us not want to come back just to avoid this person
