Such a great place to go for if your looking to not be hungry later in the night! Its such a nostalgic place for me and my brother, its been pretty much the same for like 12 years give or take. The portion sizes are huge, and great for leftovers the next day. The chef is entertaining while they’re making your or others food. If you order from the hibachi you get so much! Soup and salad (you can change them to be either or) If you don’t want to be with other people though you’re out of luck, they usually seat parties together.

Went there in the beginning of October, made a reservation in the beginning of the week for a dinner that would be at the end of that week. Called and checked up just to make sure everything was still set for friday. In that I asked that they could sing happy birthday for my grandma as there was a birthday bundle that would be paid for, they said they could and I told them I’d be bringing in a cake and they said they could hold it in their back kitchen till we were ready for them to bring it on and sing happy birthday. Even with having reservations we had a lengthy weight time of getting seated. The cook did a good job with the food, but was not very friendly and didn’t seem to talk much either. Didn’t seem like who I spoke to about the whole birthday and reservation told our server anything because she brought the check and our cake was not brought out yet nor had there been happy birthday sung. I whispered and asked her that, that’s what we had set as for our reservation and she blurted out loud asking about the birthday and cake which then ruined the whole surprise and we just said forget it. She wasn’t very professional either, didn’t catch her name but her service was terrible along with the hosts. Our server was a Asian girl the blonde highlights and the host who said I spoke to her was a blonde woman, she said she relayed everything to the server and did not. In the end as well, like I mentioned in the beginning of this I asked if we could do the birthday bundles as thats what I called about making the reservations and followed up with, when we got the check it 300+….which was not at all discussed over the phone. Still it was no biggie and the server didn’t even offer the birthday bundle price I guess cause they didn’t do at all what we asked, but 300+ was okay for how many people we had anyways. Overall I’m disappointed and feel they’re very unorganized as this was something reserved way in advanced and followed up with throughout the week.
Won’t be coming back here. Hopefully for future reference don’t blurt out what we’re asking to do for someone’s birthday surprise while they’re sat in front of you, servers.

The hibachi meals and sushi were delicious! Service was good as well. Prices were as expected for the amount of food and food choice. We opted to have the Hibachi meals without the hibachi experience. Each lunch plate came with soup and a small dish of flavored mayo sauce.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area, every time I come here all staff are so welcoming and greet you with a smile. Food and drinks are always consistently delicious. I have no complaints 🙂

We all got hibachi chicken and steak dinners, and the food was awful. the steak and chicken were both grey and fatty, and the noodles that come with the meal tasted like cigarettes, We couldn’t even eat our meals, We feel so ill after leaving. And to finish it off there were cockroaches crawling on the wall and table. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and We will not be returning. Way too pricy to be having that quality of food and bugs.

We had such a great time eating here tonight! We’ve lived in Frederick for 8 years but never tried this place. Bobby was an absolutely stellar chef. Everything was cooked to perfection including the vegetables. His Teppanyaki skills were awesome and the service was 10/10. We will definitely return and at this point I can’t see us going back to our usual mt airy spot. We also tried this tuna-jalepeno-cream cheese appetizer which was excellent. The salad dressing is my all time favorite from any place we’ve tried, I wish I could buy it bottled!

Place is really high up there on service and atmosphere. Hibachi grills never disappoint. Serving sizes are generous and pricing is reasonable.

We were very disappointed to find that the restaurant appeared to have a pest issue. Unfortunately, we observed roaches near our plates and felt it was best to leave. We hope management addresses this promptly, as it greatly impacts the dining experience.
