I came to New Indian Restaurant to celebrate my grandfather’s anniversary of his passing, since Indian food was his absolute favorite — and I’m so glad I chose this place. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
Our waiter, Jason, was incredibly kind with such a sweet personality — genuinely one of the nicest servers I’ve ever had. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented; you can really taste the care that goes into the food here.
This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations and made what could have been a bittersweet day feel comforting and special. Definitely my new go-to spot in the area. Highly recommend!

We love the Veggie Samosa (2 Pieces), Daal Thurka (Punjabi Style), Tandoori Chicken (6 Pcs), Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, and Plain Basmati Rice! Can’t wait to try more dishes from here next time and would love to dine in person someday. I would recommend this place!

I love this place. I’ve been here numerous times now. The lunch special is a great deal and has variety. My favorite dish is lamb or goat mint marsala. The tandoori chicken, vindaloo, marsalas are all delicious here. I love the garlic Naan bread and rice. The people are very nice.

Indescribably delicious and, without a doubt, among the best Indian food I’ve had. We were there on a Sunday when they had a buffet, which was a great way to sample the popular dishes, especially if not familiar. My girls ordered vegetarian korma and chicken korma, both of which are divine. Even the Naan was fluffy and hot, glistening with ghee, and the garlic was fresh.

Food was not good. Very oily, and low quality protein. All dark meat and very rubbery. The vada was not crispy at all, seemed like it was microwaved from frozen. To top it off we both felt slightly sick the next day. Avoid!

Amazing Food. Found this gem while travelling from LA towards to Lake Arrowhead. We were originally looking for pure vegetation restaurants. I was skeptical as the number of reviews were also less on this.
I am totally glad we stopped here. The food was excellent like home made food , pleasing to the heart. Gol Goppe was probably the one of the best I have had in the US. Bombay sandwich and Aloo paratha were also just perfect.
Looked like a family owned business with special attention to details. They have plenty of vegetarian/ vegan options .The staff and service was quick.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever tried. The service is always excellent; the waiters are polite and attentive and the food tastes amazing, due to the high quality ingredients and careful preparation. I would recommend the chicken tikka masala, chicken mint masala, the chicken kadai, and the falooda ice cream. I’ve been here many times and it’s always a good time. The lunch special and the takeout special are both excellent deals. It’s a gourmet eating experience at an affordable price.

Good Indian food in Upland is rare. I’ve had their butter chicken lunch special which is a killer deal with garlic nann, dal, and desert. I’ve asked for extra hot and they did not disappoint. Amazing service and food.

This place is our favorite Indian food restaurant! We have gotten a couple different entrees and they have all been so good. I love spice so their spice levels are perfect. Super clean restaurant and bathrooms as well. I will keep coming back. Also great service.
