Poblanos Mexican Grill and Bar has been family owned since its beginnings in 2004. Our family is steeped in restaurant tradition since 1977. The traditional food that we serve today is inspired by the Mexican food that was lovingly prepared in the home throughout childhood. Poblano’s serves classic Mexican dishes along side new and interesting flavors. We offer warm and inviting service coupled with an eclectic atmosphere. Ever have a very specific craving that HAD to be satisfied? Personally, I’m a sucker for good enchiladas, and knowing this my girlfriend showed me this place. The enchiladas were so good, I had to go in for more! The tacos were also bomb, however the lady who served us was friendly, fast and highly knowledgeable. Despite being a Tuesday (iykyk) the food, atmosphere and service were exemplary, exciting and expedient! We were served drinks in a what felt like seconds, chips and salsa in 2 and our food was out in maybe 10 minutes tops! And the best part? It was delicious! We’ll definitely be back again!

The food here is pretty good, the staff are usually pleasant and the restaurant itself is nice. The artwork and tiles are very pretty. My family has eaten here multiple times, the food has always been hot but I feel like it’s a bit expensive for what it is. Maybe because the ingredients are fresher or maybe certain things are hard to source (if it is as authentic as portrayed). Even just two of the most basic tacos by themselves cost over $10. We went to have dinner last week, it was a little bit busy so it was pretty loud and kind of difficult to have a conversation with my family on the opposite side of the table. Our server was nice but my step-father tried to get her attention multiple times to ask her about ordering more food, I’m not sure if it’s because he couldn’t move very fast due to extreme neck pain but it took 20 minutes for him to get the attention of any server. The food came out hot and fresh, it tasted good but for how expensive it is I guess I expect a higher quality than what is served. The rice and the beans are bland, they really just add a different texture to the food instead of flavors. My sister-in-law’s margarita was extremely strong, she couldn’t drink it, but my sister’s margarita was okay. The Queso Dip and the Salsa are really tasty, we all like both of them. This is also the only restaurant that I’ve ever been to that puts a mound of lettuce on top of their quesadillas, which I don’t like (yes you could just scrape it off but the quesadilla still gets wet and has the lettuce taste). Overall Poblanos is okay, not the best we’ve ever had but also not the worst.

The atmosphere is spacious so that you don’t feel cramped in. An awesome mix of Hispanic music was played in the background, audible enough but not intervening with conversation. The staff is courteous. The food was delicious with nice portions. They even have menu options for carb-watchers, which is a rare thing but greatly appreciated. An extensive menu sure to please all in your party.
The classic margarita was fine, especially at the Happy Hour price.

My wife and I had lunch there. We found the service polite and quick to be seated no waiting. Our server was knowledgeable and helped us understand some of the dishes. Food arrived quickly and very hot. It was well prepared and delicious. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very good food, sizable portions, great atmosphere, and fast and friendly service. There is a great selection of menu offerings, including lunch specials. If you like Mexican food, I recommend you give them a try. I will definitely return!

The food was very good. I had the beef tacos which were great. I also had a bean taco which was dry. The chips & salsa were okay. The salsa was a nice consistency but didn’t have much flavor. The ingredients were fresh. The margaritas were delightful. I appreciated that they have taco Tuesday specials. We sat at the bar and were well taken care of.
The host staff however were a whole ‘nother topic. I don’t understand how you can have FOUR people at the host stand who don’t even acknowledge you when you walk up and stand in front of them. Very rude girls. Management should definitely look into that. Isn’t their job to welcome you?

I have been going to this restaurant for years and I thought it to be the best mexican food I ever had. But, today Jan.27th for lunch with four other people, we had chicken flautas and the chicken was not enough to fill two skins and it was all grizzle. Not consumable, just awful. I am very disappointed it should have been thrown in the garbage. Should not have served it. I was embarrassed to bring my new friends there. I am hoping that this review changes the way they present a once delicious meal.
