The Rooster Food & Drink delivered the best breakfast we’ve had in Naples, and honestly, one of the best anywhere.
The scrambled eggs alone deserve their own standing ovation, soft, buttery, and rich in a way that makes you realize most eggs you’ve had before were just pretending. Whatever blend of butter and magic they’re using is next-level.
The smoked salmon Eggs Benedict was flawless. Perfectly balanced, indulgent without being heavy, and cooked with real intention. The hash browns tasted like a family secret recipe, crispy, deeply flavorful, shaped like a muffin, and impossible to stop eating.
And the jalapeño sausage gravy? Whew. It’s the kind of dish that would make a Southern grandma drop to her knees. Bold, comforting, and unforgettable.

Came here for brunch and enjoyed the grouper wings along with a cob salad with fried chicken. Oh and the brisket! The food was as super fresh and flavorful, really easy to get in and out. Will come back to try more of the menu!

I had the sausage biscuits and gravy that were spiced with jalapeño peppers. They were excellent. Very good service and quick food preparation. I am going back to try other homemade dishes.

The food was amazing! Our server, Emily, had a smile on her face the entire time and made my mom’s birthday so special by bringing out a slice of hummingbird cake—delicious, by the way. Everything was perfect, and everyone was so friendly and kind. I think I just found our new favorite breakfast spot!

Decided to do a random Google search today and found this amazing place. Had no idea it was on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Drives, but quickly found out once they seated us. A cool surprise!
They check you in on a notepad and once they clear tables – they call the next party. Our wait was about 20mins
Our waitress asked if it was our first time there (it was) and she was very informative of what was popular. Definitely let them know it’s your first time if you are unsure, they have amazing recommendations.
The food was 10/10. To start – we had to get the biscuits with jam that they are known for. We also got one of the specials – short rib Benedict with hollandaise, cheese, serviced on sourdough. The second meal was the egg sandwich that had an amazing sausage patty and an aoil sauce.

What an amazing experience while visiting Naples. Menu had a lot of choices, but all choices were dialed in. My wife has a gluten intolerance due to celiac and her food was perfectly prepared for her. I ordered the eggs, Benedict filet mignon and let me tell you it was absolutely insane how good it was. We’ll definitely be coming by again.

WOW. From the first bite, it was heavenly. A small space, but it didn’t feel cramped. And worth every penny! The service was wonderful, the food was indescribably delicious (seriously, we will definitely be going back!)

Thw Rooster rocks!!! Outstanding food and service in a quaint spot. I can see why DDD visited the place. We were just South Carolina and Goergia and their shrimp and grits are second no one!! I had the Texas Reubin which was awesome!! Killer bloody mary too!!

We come to Naples as a family every year and when I saw the episode of Diners, Drive Ins, and drive, I couldn’t wait to come and try out The Rooster! Our expectations were surpassed! We had an amazing experience!
It is a quaint little restaurant that is full of life and has a home like feel! There is seating inside and outside. All the staff is wonderful! They were kind and down to earth!
The food was delicious! Large portions, made from scratch and full of flavor! We ordered:
The crusted grouper: it was featured on DDD and was incredible! The curry sauce had a sweet flavor with a little bit of heat. The crust added great texture and loved the farro that came with it.
Jalapeño gravy and biscuits: the biscuits were delicious and buttery
Cheese grits: some of the best we have ever had!
Avocado toast with scrambled egg whites: loved the addition of strawberries on top and the hot honey!
