I tried the bbq chicken egg rolls they really didn’t have much flavor, my daughter had the fish sandwich she said it was bussin!!! My fiancé had the Philly steak with the cilantro fries he says it was good as hell he says 9.5/10 and I agree it was so good very flavorful and well seasoned loved the toasted bread. Make sure you get the roasted jalapeño ketchup for the fries! You can’t go wrong

Came all the way from East Lansing to come and try out the new restaurant. So worth it, music was so good, I could not stop bopping my head while eating but I all I have to say is DELICIOUS!!! I had the Fisher Fwy. Fish, Corktown BBQ Beef, and Russell Street Vegetarian! Fave has to be the Russell street but I won’t deny the rest of the sandwiches were so yummy along with the Strawberry Lemonade! You guys have to give it a try if you haven’t already!

I visited the Detroit location many times over the years but I have not been able to visit lately as I work weekdays. With the new Saturday hours I was able to bring my wife and daughter for their first time and they were fans. It’s not cheap and it shouldn’t be. The quality is outstanding and the flavors are second to none. If you don’t follow Chef Mike on social media you are missing out. Quality food and I’m a big guy, I don’t take home leftovers very often, well I just got done eating D75 for dinner as well. Heated it up slightly and it was still delicious. Everything here is great. A gem. You need to drill down the autographed pictures in the bathroom. People are pawing at them. J/S

The star of the show was the shrimp Poboy. The sandwich was prepared perfectly. There was plenty of shrimp. I was thankful that the shrimp wasn’t heavily breaded or overly seasoned. The combination of the shrimp, the sauce, the fresh lettuce, and tomato on an excellent bun made this the perfect sandwich. This was worth the $15 but that’s the cap. If it gets more expensive than that, I won’t be able to order it.

The cheesesteak sandwich was OK. There was nothing that stood out from it. For the price I would’ve liked to have seen more cheesesteak- Unfortunately we didn’t realize how much jalapeño peppers they put in it so we spent a bit of time picking a lot of of those out. I know this is their version and spin on it but it’s not something I would pay $15 for

The french fries were huge disappointment. You couldn’t taste garlic or cilantro because they were so overly fried that they were that dark limp brown and they tasted like grease old grease

The cheesecake egg rolls were overly greasy and again without the sauce there was nothing that made them stand out where I would re-order them- they were inconsistently filled somewhere nice and filled tightly, and a couple had opened gaps or the meat was just falling out of it-Without the 75 sauce, these would have had no real flavor

They could add more seating. There were plenty of large tables for large groups and I guess perhaps you’re supposed to share the tables, not sure. When we arrived at about 4 o’clock on Saturday, there wasn’t anywhere to sit. Thankfully, it took about 15 minutes for us to get our food and by that time we were able to snag a table.

They needed to have someone on the floor, wiping the tables down consistently. The music was way too loud. I didn’t mind the type of music as much as how loud it was, which made it difficult to have conversations and sometimes difficult to hear When placing our orders

This was almost an hour drive for us, so it’s not something we can get there frequently. But definitely if I were ever in the area I would stop for the shrimp Poboy.

I had the best fish dinner here, truly amazing from start to finish. The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious.

You can tell they take pride in their business and in making every customer feel valued. The whole experience exceeded my expectations and left me excited to come back. Highly recommend!

I just want to say that out of all the places I have written reviews for good and bad one star or 5 star. This is the first place that has really amazed me. Made me say wow this is good. I had the Orleans Shrimp Po’Boy sandwich and my friend had the Detroit Style Cheese Steak. We both had garlic cilantro fries and strawberry lemonades.

1. Orleans Shrimp Po’Boy was full of flavor and shrimp. The shrimp was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and you will find some in every bite. This sandwich had a perfect balance of sauce, shrimp, lettuce, and tomato. I have never had that much shrimp in a sandwich for that price ever.

2. Detroit Style Cheese Steak. According to my friend the meet was tender and flavorful, great balance between meet and toppings. Sauce was spot on. It was so big she only ate half.

3. Garlic cilantro fries were balanced as well. It was the perfect amount of garlic and cilantro. Neither over powered the other and the jalapeño ketchup that came with it, omg. I will be buying a bottle of it in the future. I also purchased a habanero hot sauce and dipped the fries in it. That was amazing also. You could taste the flavor of the habanero sauce before you felt the heat. Wish this was sold in a bottle.

4. Strawberry lemonade was perfect. You could tell there was nothing artificial in it. It was refreshing and not overly sweet.

Again this is the first time I have been somewhere and everything seemed spot on. I will be back 100%. The kitchen crew knows how to cook and do thing right. Based on the price and what you recieve it is a great value. I suggest everyone needs to try this place.

Side note the staff was amazing also. Keep up the great work, I have been impressed and that is not an easy to do.

Came in for the first time today. The place was slow and my food came out quickly.

Originally I ordered the Corktown and cheesesteak eggrolls to go. I was disappointed because I live 30 minutes away and when I got home the sandwich was a cheesesteak and not the corktown.

The sandwich was really good though. The bread was still crispy and the fries were well seasoned. I liked the cheesesteak dipping sauce it came with too. The cheesesteak eggsrolls were awesome too. I would recommend trying them. But not if you’re also going to get a cheesesteak sandwich.

Also ordered the strawberry lemonade 10/10! Try it!

I’ll be back, and hopefully they get my order correct lol.

Wow, that was a rock solid experience for lunch. I got the Detroit style cheesesteak, this quickly became one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. The woman working behind the counter was straightforward and to the point, but also very polite.

It took me about 10 to 20 minutes to get my food, as they were filling out A LOT of doordash orders, which is a good sign. The atmosphere is a little dry nothing to write home about, but you’re not coming here for the walls and ceiling lol.

I highly recommend you eat here, the menu is short simple and sweet and it looks like all of it is absolutely delicious.

Props to the guy behind the counter that was cooking at the time I came, he did a fantastic job. I will 1000% recommend this joint to family, friends, and co-workers, and I WILL be coming here again.

Let’s go!!! I am so happy that Mike and the gang have came out to Madison Heights! Right off of 75. The world famous 75 food truck is incredible and I have loved going there during work hours for a nice lunch. Everything about it has been perfectly translated into this beautiful restaurant Mike came out and introduced himself to my wife and I and as always the food was incredible. I am excited to go back and sit on the patio in the warmer months! Try this place it is so worth it! Everything is incredible and I have had most of the menu over the years personally I think the detroit cheese steak and Atwater chicken are staples. The egg rolls are also a can’t miss! Be sure to get the strawberry lemonade it hits every time! Thank you all can’t wait to see you again!

I heard this NEW location was open and my cousin and I came straight off the road from Cleveland to it STAT. Same great food, taste, and service from Fort St. location. Mike and the staff were a pleasure to meet and very accommodating. New location is spacious, clean, and bright. Outside setup will be a plus in the nicer weather. I WILL be back! Great experience.
