This was a really disappointing experience from start to finish. The margarita was the worst I’ve ever had—it tasted like straight sugar cane with no balance at all. I let the waitress know I was unhappy with it, and she could clearly see that I barely touched it, yet I was still charged for it.

The food was just as bad—greasy, heavy, and honestly disgusting. I felt sick to my stomach shortly after eating, which is never a good sign.

Between the poor drink quality, unappetizing food, and lack of customer care, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

The fam and I have been coming here for years, it’s our local taco spot. We enjoy how quick and friendly the service is by all the staff there. The food is also really good. I almost always just get the tacos and the sauces they provide on the side are superrr great. My husband tends to get the chimichangas and he always enjoys them. They have a kid’s menu for my daughter and the only thing on that we don’t love is the pizza, but they are a taco place, not a pizza place. I recommend this place for a chill, fast and friendly taco experience!

This is a weird place for tacos. Someone else mentioned it used to be a food truck. I think they should have stayed that way.

The ground beef was seasoned oddly. The shredded chicken tasted of chili powder and nothing else. The “Chile relleno” was a stuffed bell pepper topped with plain white Velveeta. When asked about it, the server said he knows of another kind that uses a jalapeño. What kind of Mexican food is this?

The menu also included missing numbers on specials and duplicates. So no. 1 was the same as no. 4.

If you like this place, I have another, better, suggestion: Taco Bell.

A friend and I went here to eat because we were craving some Mexican food. The food arrived very hot and even more tasty. The meat was cooked to perfection and the serving sizes for the tortilla shells used was absolutely plentiful. Lots of great taste. Highly recommend.

Literally a hidden gem over here on the east side. Their food is always superb and blows my socks off. Staff is always friendly and greet you with a smile. My personal favorite menu choice is the carnitas of which I would gladly recommend. If I could rate them higher I would they’re quite literally that good.

I like Mexican food. I mean to say, I really like Mexican food. This means that on the one hand, if Mexican food is not authentic or of high quality, I can be pretty critical. On the other hand, when it is really good, there is not much better, in my book.

Tacos A La Diabla definitely falls into the latter category.
Authentic taste, legitimate spiciness, suitable portions, pretty reasonable prices for meals (drinks were a bit high in my opinion).

I had the huevos rancheros with tortillas, beans and rice.
Simple? Yes. Simply exquisite.

The server was very friendly and kind, thoughtful and smiling and patient with our lack of knowledge of the menu items.

The decor was surprisingly chic considering the outside looked very “strip mall” ordinary.

If I must complain, the service was a bit slow…but well worth the wait.

Pro Tip
There is a very nice selection of beverages, both alcoholic and otherwise and a variety of cocktails.
We came for lunch so we abstained from libations but I may have to find my way back for dinner soon and put my temperance and teetotaling ways to rest.

I’ve been eating these tacos since they used to operate out of a truck over by the old Liberty Bell flea market. In many ways they were my introduction to the world of taqueria food, which I have come to dearly love. I went back tonight after having not been for a few years (for no good reason), and the tacos were as good as I remember. Their chorizo taco diabla style with their green sauce is still my favorite taqueria style taco out of the hundreds I’ve tried. The asada diabla taco is also in my top 5.

They’re not the cheapest, but 3 tacos for 11 or 12 bucks, they’re definitely worth paying a little more than you would at a truck or taqueria, which I don’t think this place considers itself to be. The menu is mostly strip mall tex-mex with enchiladas, chimichangas, and other assorted combinations of meats, tortillas, and usually white queso sauce, with a few seafood and steak options. I’m sure it’s all good. But you’re not there for any of that. You’re there for what they named the place after, tacos a la diabla, the best tacos I’ve ever had. I won’t wait so long to go back next time.
