Visited them for the first time on a weekend around noon. We were told the wait time would be about 5 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 25–30 minutes. The staff at the table was friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. The ambiance was great and the place had a nice vibe.

We tried the thali, appetizers, dosa, sambar idly, and other rice items — everything was good and tasted fresh. Overall, despite the longer wait time, we had a positive experience and would consider coming back.

This is my second visit to this place, it is one among very very few restaurants with Best Vegetarian food you can get. We have tried multiple items during lunch and almost everything is delicious.
Food that we tried:
Street style veg manchuria: 4.5/5
Mushroom Ghee Roast: 4.5/5
Chilli Paneer: 3/5 (if added bit salt n spices it would have been great)
Paneer Do Pyaza: 4/5
Mushroom Masala: 3.5/5
Chilli Naan & Garlic Naan: 3.5/5 (bit dry, could have been bit softer n buttery)
Pachimirchi Paneer Pulav: 4/5
Veg Donne Biryani: 4/5
Gulab Jamun with Rabdi: 2.5/5 (Gulab jamun doesnot look like ith made out kova or gulab jamun powder, looks like its made out of bread)
Gulab Jamun with Icecream: 2.5/5
Apricot Delight: 4/5 (WORTH TRYING!!! By far the best one I had in Dallas)

Bharath Bhavan is an excellent vegetarian restaurant. I’ve visited twice, and the food has been consistently delicious and flavorful. The Ragi Mudda with Okra Curry is the best and a must-try. The Mushroom Starter is also really good.

The soups and starters are very nice, and the desserts — especially the Apricot Delight — were amazing and something I truly enjoyed. Overall, a wonderful place for tasty vegetarian food, and I would definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed the Chana Dahi Puri and Pachhimirchi Paneer Cashew Pulao as they were our favorites. The Masala Dosa and Mixed Vegetable Paneer Dum Biryani were tasty as well. Portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was just lovely. 10/10 would come again.

I had a great time here. The atmosphere was really nice with a lot of people eating here. The place was super clean and the waiters were really kind and patient. The paneer tikka masala, masala dosa, and chole was phenomenal! 10/10 and would definitely come here again! We loved the paneer tikka masala so much we are taking it to go.

The food was amazing. Highlight of our dinner was Ragi mudde and Pacchimirchi paneer cashew pulao which was labeled as spicy, it was actually quite mild but I still loved the flavor. We also tried mini idly and Davangere benne dosa. The potato masala in benne dosa was very average, though chutneys were good.

If you are coming to Bharat Bhavan, the Benne Dosa is a non-negotiable—it was absolute perfection (chef’s kiss!). The pricing here is also very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you receive.
The Thali Experience:
The Thali is a bit of a mixed bag. While it’s a solid meal, some components outshine others.
• The Highlights: Both the Palak Daal and the Aloo were excellent, packed with flavor. The Curd Rice was also a great palate cleanser and very well-made.
• The Average: The Bhindi and the Halwa were okay, but didn’t particularly stand out.
• The Lowlight: The Makhana sweet dish was unfortunately a letdown and didn’t hit the mark.
Summary: Go for the Benne Dosa and the Daal/Aloo dishes. The prices make it a great frequent spot, even if the Thali has a few inconsistent elements.

Had a great lunch during holiday time. The food was outstanding liked the Paneer pachi mirchi pulav , kheema matar was nice too with all flavors blended well together , appetizers that we are ordered were good too . Liked Veg Manchuria .Top notch with the taste and it’s was crunchy with twist of all combined flavors making us to remind the taste of back home feeling. Benne dosa and naan with paneer curry were good too . Amazing experience to dine in for all vegetarian food without any regrets of not having non vegetarian if you are NV but again u don’t get that feels . Veggie calling to have feast of vegetarian dishes. Only downside is too much of wait time . Plan accordingly or come in advance to have tables allocated in given time.

We went on a weekend around 11:30 am , there was wait time of just 5 mins and we were then given our seats. Started with Rava Onion Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, Ghee Podi Thatte Idli and Chole Bhatire Delhi style, each dish was so tasty and delicious , sambhar was mouth watering and lot of chutney options to go with.
Also , got medu Vada which were quite fresh and masala chai. I felt it was taking time for orders to arrive but can’t complaint because quality was so good. This was my first visit but I’m definitely coming back.

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time, but it just never happened — until today! Finally, we got a chance to dine here. I wouldn’t say it’s the best vegetarian restaurant in the Dallas area, but it’s definitely one of the best.

We started with chaat items like Dahi Puri, followed by appetizers such as Crispy Corn, Street-Style Veg Manchurian, Dahi ke Kebab, and Pan-Fried Momos. For the main course, we ordered Malai Kofta, Paneer Do Pyaza with Garlic Naan, Pachimirchi Paneer Cashew Pulav, and Mushroom Dum Biryani.

The only disappointment was the Pachimirchi Paneer Cashew Pulav, which didn’t meet our expectations — it didn’t taste like a proper pulav. The Paneer Do Pyaza curry also lacked the expected flavor.

But the Mushroom Dum Biryani was absolutely outstanding! Honestly, no restaurant in the USA even comes close — not even 50% of its taste.

Overall, except for those two dishes, everything else was perfect!
