Taqueria La Bendicion – Solid Food, Quiet Atmosphere
I stopped by Taqueria La Bendicion recently and had a generally good experience.
The Highlights: The pupusas are genuinely fantastic—they are my new favorite item here and a must-try. The birria tacos were also pretty good and very satisfying. This taqueria definitely shines with these traditional dishes.
The Feedback: Unfortunately, the tacos dorados missed the mark for me. They had a noticeable pungent aftertaste, which I suspect might be due to the cooking oil. While this was disappointing, it was the only real culinary downside.
Atmosphere & Service: The overall place looks very clean, which is a big plus. The atmosphere is very quiet, as there was no music or TV playing during my visit. Overall, it’s a clean, calm, and okay spot, primarily excellent for those pupusas!
Overall Rating: 4/5 Stars for the pupusas and birria alone!

Love this spot! Found it totally by accident and it was really great! We had the Pupusas and they were delicious! Especially with the curtido and the mildly spicy tomato sauce.
