I placed an online ordered and was charged. Went to pick up my food at 5pm and the place was closed BUT employees inside refused to acknowledge me or even come to the door to speak. Terrible customer service at this location. Will be filing a fraud charge against this location for essentially taking my money. Future customers please beware.
Response to Owner: there was no signage on the doors indicating reduced hours and the online ordering system was still functional. This does not excuse the lack of professionalism and service from the staff inside the kitchen. I was ignored and the older lady gestured me to leave and she went behind the kitchen curtain and closed it. You can provide any excuse you want but this location lacks any sense of accountability. I am getting my money back – whether it’s from you or my bank. Another customer posted an hour after me with the same situation and he was rudely flipped off. Holiday Hours does not mean you can treat people in that manner. This location does not deserve a penny from anyone until those employees are removed.

I went thru the drive thru takes a little time to get an order because they make it fresh but pretty quick
I got the great steak with fries and a Pepsi. Everything tasted good. The sandwich was pretty small for the price.

Excellent experience! The food was fantastic, and I was blown away of how clean the bathrooms were. They smelled good, and there were even extra famine care products for the ladies! The staff were very friendly, and helpful. Thank you Great Steak!

I’ve been going to the Great Steak in the Mall of America for MANY years. I was soooo excited when I saw one was opening near home! I hope this place is just having a really tough start since they just recently opened but I was severely disappointed. First I waited 15 minutes to place my order in the drive thru. And once I got up to the window finally I was asked to enter my pin. I’ve never ever been asked to enter my cards pin in the drive thru and even when I am asked to enter pin there’s an option to skip it. But they insisted I need a pin but I couldn’t even enter it because the card reader was connected to their inside counter and couldn’t reach my car. So then I had to go inside, wait 10 minutes in line, replace my order, and pay there. The kicker isn’t even the service though because I get new places have troubles when starting out but the food is NOTHING like actual Great Steak’s. The sandwich’s were like the size of hot dogs or kid sandwiches. I paid almost $40 for two sandwiches with barely any meat inside, the locations that have always been at the mall have always made their sandwiches full of meat. This was a joke! I hope they get better because I won’t be going back for a while.

Ordered takeout from them for the first time.
Portions were large, plenty of meat and cheese on each – they *do not* skimp on the toppings. Much more substantial than other sub chains.
Got a large order of King Tots, it was amazingly good (though terribly bad for you) and the to-go box was huge, we ate the leftovers for 2 days.

The food is fine for fast food. A little better than subway. But overpriced for what you get. $33 for what is shown in the picture. The tables weren’t clean, and the garbage was full.

My husband had one a few months ago, tonight our second one! Amazing steak sandwich, tender tasty meat, great cheese, peppers, and wonderful fries. Young lady at the window took our order carefully and helped us choose. She provided excellent pleasant service. Thank you.
