If you love South Indian food, you HAVE to try Dosa Guru!
The food is super authentic, full of flavor, and honestly just so delicious. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly made. You can really tell they care about quality.
The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and the service was smooth and quick. The place itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a nice vibe to sit and enjoy your meal.
Definitely coming back for more!

I already left a review from my main account, but I just wanted to say thank you again for your amazing hospitality and to let you know how incredible you all are.
Dosa Guru is truly my go-to place. I won’t say it’s one of the best restaurants in Edmonton.. it’s THE BEST RESTAURANT IN EDMONTON.
The staff, the food, the chefs, and the restaurant itself., everything is outstanding. Every visit feels special and completely worth it.
And not to forget the chef who makes the most delicious vegan food; you deserve a special shout-out too!
A big thank you to Kinjal, Vishwa, Arsh, Aishwarya, and everyone else. Whether names are mentioned or not, each one of you is amazing.
Thank you for always making every visit memorable. You never disappoint, and you always make it worth coming back.

We had an amazing experience at Dosa Guru with my family! We tried the dahi puri, paneer bhurji dosa, and Bombay jini dosa, and everything tasted absolutely delicious and was full of flavour. The highlight for us was definitely the dahi puri — it was so fresh, perfectly balanced, and incredibly tasty.
We couldn’t resist trying their desserts as well, and the kesar falooda and mango falooda were both excellent and so refreshing. Overall, the food quality and taste were outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, and we will surely be coming back again with our family!
Overall, the food quality, service, and efficiency were outstanding. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great restaurant. Fantastic food. One of the best dosas I’ve ever had. Competes with the ones back from India. So crispy so light and delicious. Sambar was also really flavourful.Service was exceptional especially front desk staff I believe her name was Akshita who had such a lovely attitude.Made me like the restaurant even more. Also would be better to book in advance as can get busy. Will def go back again.10/10 Food

My experience at Dosa Guru was very disappointing. The chilly paneer was overcooked and burnt, and I found a hair in the Combo 2 idli. The mysore Masala Dosa was quite average — nothing special. I did enjoy the rasam, but the masala tea was okay, and the masala lassi was served without ice. There were flies in the store, which was unappetizing.
The staff were courteous and trying their best, but the kitchen needs to improve the consistency and look at the recipes. I understand if it gets busy, but having only one or two tables occupied shouldn’t justify such poor quality. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Tried this Dosa place after a friend’s recommendation, and it was totally worth it! I ordered the Bombay Jini Dosa and Onion Masala Dosa — both were crispy, delicious, and full of flavor. The Bombay Jini Dosa has a nice Chinese twist, while the Onion Masala Dosa gives you that authentic South Indian taste. The place does get busy, so you might have to wait a bit, but the service is always friendly and awesome. If you’re craving real, flavorful dosas — this is the spot! You won’t regret it.

Best place to eat Indian food. Not only food but the service is more than 5 stars. I visited this first time on my birthday today and it was the best experience I had so far in Edmonton. They even celebrated my birthday with little birthday song. Thank you for making my birthday memorable by your best service and delicious food. ❤️

We went to Dosa Guru for lunch with family. Undoubtedly best south Indian in Edmonton. Everything from the food, ambience, service and overall vibes of the restaurant were great. I want to commend the staff for their service level and how many times they came to ask us about food, service etc.
We had Rava Masala Dosa, Cheese Dosa Kids, Mini Idli with Podi, Podi Masala Dosa and Vada/Idli Combo.
5 star to all dishes. Rava Masala & Mini Podi Idli gets bonus points!
Thank you so much for this amazing experience!

I went there for the first time and ordered medu vada and cheese pav bhaji dosa. It was yummy, spice level was medium, served hot and cheese melted. Dosa was nice and crispy. The sides complemented well. They had a good variety of dosa options and were hard to pick which one to order. Highly recommended for people who are Jain’s and belong to swami Narayan community as very few places have options without onion and garlic.
