Darna is more than just a hookah lounge — it feels more like a bar or club once you step inside. The vibe is energetic, especially when the music turns on, and it’s definitely more of a party atmosphere than a laid-back hookah spot.
The hookah itself was good, with nice flavor and a smooth experience, and the pricing is moderate, which makes it accessible for a night out. They also host themed nights like Latin night and Arabic night, which is great if you’re looking to dance and enjoy a lively scene.
One downside was that they didn’t offer tea, which is something many hookah lounges typically provide, so that was a bit disappointing. Also, once the music gets loud, it becomes very difficult to have a conversation.

Went for a fun Thursday night, they played a lot of great songs. Modern and old reggaeton from the early 2000’s, as well as bachata, some salsa and merengue. it’s a Spanish night on Thursday’s. Very cute waitresses and excellent service. The bar area is very crowded and takes time to get drinks from the bar but most DC and Arlington bars are like that anyways. We didn’t eat so I’m not sure about the food. Had a great time overall

I met up with a friend for hookah and drinks and had a great time. The waitress was extremely nice, answered our questions about the drinks, and made some great recommendations!
My only gripe is that the price is crazy expensive, and they have a “mandatory drink or bottle purchase” later in the evening. We were asked to pay, or leave, or move. It kind of ruined the evening for us, so we left.

Nice Vibes here – Hidden Gem. Limited in parking. Friendly and professional, but forgetful servicer. The drinks, & hookah — great variety/ample choices. Food was okay. Ambiance hits all the marks.

I had a very disappointing experience here. The service was extremely slow, and it felt like our table was forgotten multiple times. The hookah quality was poor — harsh smoke and the flavor barely lasted 20 minutes. Food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold and bland. For the prices they charge, I expected much better. The atmosphere could be nice, but the loud, chaotic environment made it hard to enjoy our time. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back and can’t recommend it to others.

It is absolutely atrocious that something like this has made its way into the nice town of Arlington. Why would an owner post something like this unless he was trying to alienate other people? Is absolutely horrible that someone in a friendly neighborhood would try and do something like this. Combine that with mediocre food and service there is no reason to ever come back to this place.
