Found this nice seafood on Google maps. Service staff, Ali s really professional and friendly. He came over multiple times to check with us how is our meal and we even have a nice chat. The food is really well cooked and not too spicy as per our requests.

Ordered the Steam Lime Chilli fish, black pepper crab, kailan garlic, tempura squid, 3 plates of white rice and 3 drinks! Total bill is RM300.95. It is quite affordable for a seafood restaurant. Food was really good, so delicious!! The vibes in this restaurant was so chill yet luxurious. The tempura squid is highly recommended! You get to choose the fish on your own, if you opted for live seafood. Else, they’ll ask you if you want frozen fish – so opt for the live fish! I chose live fish and it tastes Much fresher.

I was here with my wife just this evening (1 DECEMBER 2025) for dinner at this restaurant in Pantai Cenang in Langkawi. My wife and I had not planned to dine here, but we were drawn into this restaurant by its affable staff at the restaurant’s entrance. We ordered the following: a Telaga Special Fried Noodles that was very very good; a Chicken Chop that was surprisingly good; a bowl of fresh salad that was very good and fresh, and a couple of drinks. The service here was very very good – very very friendly, attentive and courteous. The dining ambience here was very comfortable although we dined sort of alfresco – as this was a non-airconditioned restaurant, but the cool evening clime made the dining ambience (as I mentioned) very comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for good local and Western food, very good service and dining ambience – and reasonably priced to boot.

Amazing food and service.
We had the grilled squid, grilled king prawns and grilled seafood mix.
The place doesn’t serve alcohol, just as a side note.
But the food is so good, that it doesn’t really matter.
Ali was our server and he was very friendly and helpful.

First of all, for those coming here for the first time, let me just say that the food here is quite pricey, so do not expect prices like RM8.50 per person as you would get in an ordinary restaurant.
I have been here a few times already, maybe two or three visits, and in my opinion, this is one of the nice places to bring your family for a meal once in a while. The food tastes good, the portions are reasonable, and there are plenty of choices on the menu. It gives off a comfortable family-friendly vibe, which makes dining here more enjoyable.
This time, I really want to highlight one of the waiters, who I believe is from Bangladesh. He was very patient and polite while attending to us, even though we took quite some time to decide on our food and drinks. He handled everything calmly, with a smile, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. There were many other good things he did that made our experience pleasant, but I will just keep it short here.
Overall, if you have the budget, I would say it is worth bringing your family here. I am not saying this is the best restaurant in Langkawi, but it is definitely one of the better choices where you can enjoy a nice meal together.

Service was impeccable. We’ve had Fazli serviced us the other night and fazli ensured that our food was ordered, measured and delivered. He was super attentive and a great server. Please make him employee of the month
Spent RM281 for fish, tiger prawn, vege and a fried rice. We heard from the locals that Telaga is the more consistent and cheaper one out of the island. Truly did not disappoint!

Parking is available behind the restaurant with limited of space. It’s along the main road, so you can also park there and walk around to enjoy the shops in the area.
Taste Most of the food and drinks were overly sweet. The only exception was the rice. Overall, the food wasn’t really to my taste. I’d rate it 2/5.
Even the orange cordial was very sweet. There was a live band near the entrance, which added some atmosphere.
Price Prices are normal/standard (pricey), similar to other restaurants in Langkawi.

Excellent dining experience at Telaga Seafood Restaurant. The food was fresh, well-prepared and tasted amazing. Service was outstanding, especially from Abang Ali who was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Worth every penny and highly recommended.

We ordered their 6 pax set for RM170. The restaurant has a nice and relaxing vibe, great view near the ocean. The price is consider affordable considering we have 2 large size siakap. The fish are fresh and delicious. We switch our squid to Ala-thai but disappointed as it’s quite tasteless and they just provide a green chili sauce as a dip. I thought they will steam cooked the squid but the squid looks like it’s just boiled or blanched with zero salt or seasoning. Best to stick with their squid goreng tepung. The coffee latte was also good. My only feedback is they need to have a better system to deliver foods to their customers. The waiter keep asking are you this name or that name every time they want to deliver foods despite we told them our order’s name. Overall I still recommend their restaurant and will be coming back here again in the future
