Good sushi at a very good price. There appears to be inconsistencies in how the sushi is assembled. The proportions of rice to protein fluctuate as tge day goes on. I am attributing this to running out of rice.

Be aware that this is a busy place, that makes fresh sushi combos and dishes to order. The seating is seriously non-existent, so I recommend picking your order up for consumption elsewhere.

For the price, you cannot go wrong. I’ve been getting sushi here regularly and have never been truly disappointed.

I recommend the Triple Box. It contains three rolls and three pieces of sushi at under $20. This combo box include salmon, tuna and yellowtail. There are many other options as well.

This restaurant is listed as “KI sushi spot“ on seamless or Grubhub for delivery. They use fake names on these services so you can’t identify the restaurant. This restaurant sells garbage sushi and charges real money for it. It belongs in the trash.

The guy at the register was really sweet and the place is small but my friend and I expected the food to be better due to the other reviews. Starting off with the good, I liked the salmon roll, but other than that the rice was mushy, not like typical sushi rice, and the tuna had a weird texture. I eat a lot of sushi and maybe we stopped by at a bad time it was $26.90 for seven sushi rolls: salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, spicy roll, two shrimp tempura, and a California roll. A great deal but unfortunately upset our stomachs and couldn’t finish the rest. Again the staff was sweet, just wish the food met our expectations.

Sushi Spot is a hole-in-the-wall takeout spot with shockingly affordable prices. Seven rolls cost $24.75 plus tax. Service is very fast. As for quality, it’s better to go with the oshinko, unagi, ebi and tempura rather than the tuna.

Amazing – highly recommend this tiny yet excellent sushi take away. Our go to sushi take out during 1 week vacation in NY while staying in midtown west, we traveled here 3x. Near the museum and park. Great quality. Excellent value for money. Especially with 2 teenage boys. Lunch specials highly recommended!!

I was reluctant to try after previous reviews mentioned getting sick and food quality being poor but I just had for lunch special, 3 rolls for $12 and it was great! Not the best sushi you’ll have in your life but good enough for the price. Took 5-10 minutes. Quick and easy. Bring cash. Spicy mayo is 50 cents extra. More of a take out spot.

Great and affordable with fast service. Definitely a gem in the neighborhood. Fish was fresh-tasting, especially the salmon, which had a good percentage of fat. No significant area for dine in so definitely more of a grab-and-go joint. The combos are great bang for your buck, and aren’t restricted to lunch hours like some other establishments. Cash only!

this place is so so good! it’s become my new go to sushi place because it’s so cheap, quick, and delicious! their menu has such a wide variety. i usually just get avacado rolls, avacado cucumber rolls, and shrimp tempura rolls and it’s so amazing!!! i call to order for pickup and they have it ready within 5-10 minutes. for three rolls i believe it’s about $11.45, but i got four rolls for $17.37. it tastes just like the more expensive i’ve had but its so much cheaper! the staff is also very friendly but it takes like 30 seconds to pay and get my food. i absolutely love this place and especially their low prices for quality sushi!! would highly reccomend 🙂

Indoor space is very limited, take out is recommended. They prepare the food quickly and it’s very affordable. Bring cash, it’s cheaper with cash!

The sushi is good. Ingredients are fresh. Wasabi is legit. But lacking a bit of rice overall and skimping on some protein. Not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely a great spot in the UES for the price, quantity, and the quality.
